It’s pretty awful to watch

In the posters defence, I don't follow any soap/TV themes on SM and avoid spoilers but it has been publicised by domestic abuse charities and they have put out press statements on multiple platforms due to the nature of the storyline so it's easy to assume that people would know how it ends.

But that said...

I assumed she'd fallen on the cutlery rack in the dishwasher, maybe something sharp pointing upwards.

I think the glass milk bottle is significant here.

Such a manipulative asshole- I thought he bought the glass bottle to be memorable in his alibi then I realised he’d do the drop shock

Awful, awful watch but amazingly portrayed.

I think the bottle of milk was a bit of both, he can say he wasn’t there & show he was shocked

I’m struggling to understand the point of having a storyline to raise awareness of DV and offering a phone number to call for advice when they’ve just shown what happens when women try to leave I think they’ve done a lot of damage with this storyline.

He deliberately chose the glass milk bottle because he had already planned in his head to come home and drop it “in shock”.

Gosh that was a hard watch......powerful.

Alternatively her murder could inspire some DV victims who watched this to get out of their situation (a complex situation I know).
