The chantelle thing is so frustrating. I understand trying not to wind up Gray, but when she has her whole family around her, she really should have spoken up an said no, I'll stay here with the kids.
And when they were going on holiday, again she should have said "I'm taking the kids on holiday, I don't need or want a break from them." Especially as she's at the stage of deciding to leave him. What would she have to lose? Her mum and dad would totally believe and support her if she told them what was happening.

Ps I know DV is way more complex than just speaking up, but she has so many get-outs while in the safety of her family, yet keeps going back to being alone with him.
