Starts tonight. Looks good

When two sides of Glasgow collide when a teenage girl makes a pack with a wealthy couple

Dan and Emily live in a stunning house by the edge of a lake and have everything they ever dreamed of

Apart from a child

Years of struggling and many failed ivf

Kaya has no money or job but offers to be their surrogate

It’s quickly becomes apparent that the baby pact has a destructive effect .......

Yep the whispy voice is her voice. Also coupled with some over acting. Was much better after she was chucked out!

supercee · 13/04/2020 22:12

Happy with the ending. Glad it ended that way (and I no longer had to endure SH).

namechangenumber2 · 13/04/2020 22:18

Great ending

DangerCat01 · 13/04/2020 22:19

I’m a bit fucked off that we weren't told more about the murder when she was little. I wanted more there.

2Rebecca · 13/04/2020 22:22

Was I the only one who thought she was going to jump?

thetrinityisshite · 13/04/2020 22:24

@2Rebecca - I thought so too!

Where is the new house? Is it the back of shawlands?

supercee · 13/04/2020 22:25

Yes I thought she might've jumped!

Seetheprettysnowdrops · 13/04/2020 22:25

Loved this. Glasgow looked great

Storyline was great

Wee Martin was great

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 13/04/2020 22:26

I loved the final episode, though feel
Sad that Kaya didn’t explain the murder to Emily and Dan, and get redeemed in that respect!

Sweetpotatoaddict · 13/04/2020 22:26

I reckon she jumped!
They could have bought their new house with the fuel they saved from going back and forward to their flash pad. You never saw dan and Emily in a car together.

Ginger1982 · 13/04/2020 22:27

I think there would be scope for a second series if they wanted there to be. More that could be explored.

purpleme12 · 13/04/2020 22:29

I liked it

DangerCat01 · 13/04/2020 22:29

She didn’t jump! I took it that she was watching the city lights and wondering about her future as a business woman.

mogloveseggs · 13/04/2020 22:29

Nah she didn't jump she was looking at her new horizons

mogloveseggs · 13/04/2020 22:29

Wrapped it up well I thought

purpleme12 · 13/04/2020 22:30

No I don't think she jumped either

I think they were portraying it as a fresh start for her. It was ultimately a good outcome for her

Ginger1982 · 13/04/2020 22:31

I took it that it was a nicer flat with a nicer view and she looked nicer!

HairyMaclary5 · 13/04/2020 22:33

I find it odd that Dan and Emily didn't want to follow up on the mix-up with the embryos in Ukraine. Think if it were me, I'd have wanted to know if there was a baby who was genetically mine out there somewhere? That whole part of the plot seemed to be forgotten in the last episode!

Did occur to me about Kaya jumping at the end - not sure how she was going to make a new life for herself in Glasgow where she would be recognised.

lazymum99 · 13/04/2020 22:37

Second series will cover the search for the woman who had Dan and Emily’s embryo implanted. Although that could uncover the parents of baby neve. Might get very complicated.

Poetryinaction · 13/04/2020 22:38

Hmmm. I think it's really unlikely there would be the wrong embryo used. I expected that to be explained away. Also, with all the drama and media involvement, unlikely the baby would go to Dan and Emily. But nice to see them happy in the end.

Poetryinaction · 13/04/2020 22:40

What happened to adult Neve's baby? Kaya's cousin. Was he/she taken into care too?

EarringsandLipstick · 13/04/2020 22:42

Riveted by this & thought it ended well. Poor Kaya, what a life. I hope it is a new start for her 🙏🏻
Only bit I still wondered about was Doddie. This episode seemed to rehabilitate Dan, but he was dodgy the entire time beyond the drug money laundering at the beginning. So what he was telling Emily was still only a fraction of the truth. Jarred a bit seeing him playing happy families at the end. Still maybe he's rehabilitated.
But if he actually killed Doddie then... but assuming he didn't.

EarringsandLipstick · 13/04/2020 22:43

Poetry the baby died when Neve died

EarringsandLipstick · 13/04/2020 22:45

I find it odd that Dan and Emily didn't want to follow up on the mix-up with the embryos in Ukraine.
She tried to, last episode. Got nowhere. And Dan put it to her that, there was no 'other' baby, only the one that had been born

She did establish that the error was in the Ukraine, rather than from the UK side.

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 13/04/2020 22:46

Thought it was vile - yet again wealthy couple are able to buy a baby from a vulnerable young woman. Disgusting.
