Emily and Dan have unexplained infertility so Emily might end up pregnant naturally and Kaya decides to keep the baby she bore and become another single teenage mum rather than going down the career route. The career thing is just a pipe dream that won't happen unless she sorts her head and impulsive behaviour out and shows some interest in learning stuff anyway. I don't find any of the characters likeable. The idea of loads of money in a current account is just silly.
They're trying to cram too many highly unlikely things in to it.

The male SW was going to arrange a 3 month lease on a flat for her .

Dan and Emily could arrange for Kaya and the baby to come and live with them (to help with caring for a very tiny premature baby when she's had a CS . His sister is an A&E Nurse so they could say she'll help even though she has distanced herself from Dan)

They can arrange for her to join Doddie in the Clyde (or Loch) just remember to weigh her down .
Tell the SW she has "disappeared" and apply to care for the baby long term.
Or they can all vanish .........

I personally think that there was an error with the dna test and it will turn out that Dan and Emily are the parents after all. I also think that Kaya’s mum is a bad’un and possibly is culpable in some way for Niamh’s murder.

I liked how the SW crimes were for accessing data from Nov 2019 to March 2020 so presumably the drama is set in Springtime/summer 2020 when there was no concept of social distancing.
