He was selling information to a crime family and using his position to access confidential information about where people the family were after were living.

The social workers been selling the drugs dealers details about where people who owe them money are living or things that would give them leverage like where their kids are.

I'm finding this utterly preposterous. It's as if it doesn't quite know what story it wants to tell, so it chucks everything in to the stew - bent social worker, the (apparently irrelevant) flashback to Emily's best pal dying after E. It's very unfocused which I think makes it very unsatisfying. The emotional, tug-at-the-heart strings where I'm meant to be crying have me rolling my eyes instead. But... I'm still watching so I suppose that's all that matters in the end

I missed a bit.... can anyone tell me why the social worker was arrested and how he is connected with Doddy's death?

What an episode! I was totally gripped. Loved the way you switch sympathies throughout - poor Kaya at the end, every bit of security she ever had taken away
