Anyone watched it tonight? Thought it was fun and well-acted, love Jason Watkins. Perhaps two hours was a bit long, but I'll be watching next week.

E3 tonight which is the one that wasn’t shown at end of s2

E3 confused me as to why the victim agreed to have the surgery ?

@popcorndiva they said it was because she wanted to look like Rose, which didn't make sense at all as the surgeon's brief was to change Rose's nose, so the victim would have ended up looking nothing like her! I got confused as to why she was even killed - was it just because she was an obsessive fan? Seems a bit extreme!

She was killed I think because she had discovered Rose was Eliana, Romanian not English so was kind of blackmailing her. The owner of the doctors just wanted her husband discredited and involved in a death so needed a victim. So she made a deal with Rose offering her the money and plane ticket if she could convince her stalker to do it I think

So glad I found this thread I love M&D, it's like Death in Paradise but in Bath which looks lovely and I'm very tempted to visit as long as I don't meet an untimely and creative death haha.

No she swapped the dog after too hence why he was now called fluffy that was what tipped them off that they swapped the patient. But yes I only guess the victim agreed as she couldn't say no to her idol or something. Fatuation

I saw three quarters of it then someone rang ! I'll catch up on the rest tomorrow if I can, but not sure whether I can forward to the last half hour because of adverts on itvplayer.

I enjoyed the last one. Anyone recognise the first song the jazz singer sang? I recognised the second one "Girl Talk."

I think the song was Clouds across the Moon by The Rah Band, if you mean the song she was singing at the piano near the start?

Has anyone tried chips with butter to see if they are as yummy as Dodds makes out. I am afraid I would be addicted and put on a stone.

I haven't but I do love butter on new potatoes!

Thinking about it I have tried garlic butter with chips and that tasted decadent.

Back to the series but does anyone else think they are setting something up with Mcdonald and her boyfriend. Why else do they keep going on about how much he loves her etc.

That last episode was really good. Complex story, well directed. Smooth
and grown up but still funny. Feels like it’s got fully into its stride now 👍 can’t wait for the next series

Love Watkins. Watched s1, s2 (there was only 2 episodes?) and into 3. It's really weak, poor. Seriously poor. But I'll keep watching, because nothing else is on!
