Anyone watched it tonight? Thought it was fun and well-acted, love Jason Watkins. Perhaps two hours was a bit long, but I'll be watching next week.

Thought this was terrible! It was all so cliched and the script was appalling - nothing sounded natural and every point was made with a sledgehammer. I was embarrassed for poor Jason Watkins. Completely unbelievable characters too. Won't bother watching the second one.

Looking forward to the new series tomorrow night.

Need something to replace Death in Paradise so thought I'd give this a go. Watched Ep1 of series 1 yesterday, and enjoyed it - but have no idea how the dad got the daughter's wife to go to his house at that exact time, with a gun??!! He could hardly have said 'Come round and shoot me now'!!

I found series 1 strangely likeable in a strange way. Better than say Death in Paradise or Mid Summer Murders.

Do we need a new thread for series 2 or is it liked by so few we should just come back here to make comments.

Do wonder if the underlying plot of the contrast between the 2 main characters will start to wear a bit thin. But I think they used it as a clever way to make comments about changes in society last time without being heavy handed.

Watched for the first time yesterday. Was good but a bit too long. An hour, would be better or if it has to be two hour long episodes. Can’t decide whether that or pottery throw down tonight (we have rubbish WiFi so cart has up is an issue).

Loved the first two. Looks like some of the supporting actors are different for this series.

I don't think he planned the timing, I think he set it in motion and hoped for the best.

Jason Watkins's accent is very dodgy indeed

I'm loving it! Just bonkers enough to make it fun.....unlike Finding Alice which was so bonkers that it was really irritating!

Proper Sunday night entertainment. Poor old Patsy is looking very stretched out though - frozen face.

I know that Patsy was once married to one of the Gallagher Brothers and it sounded like it was hell for her :(
I don't mind her really. I think she has had a hard life at times.

Ooh I forgot series 2 was starting. I'll watch it on catch up tomorrow.

I enjoyed series 1. Easy watching crime drama I can have on in the background while I scroll endlessly on my phone . Midsummer murders and the New Zealand Brokenwood series fit the same bill, I love an old episode of Frost too.

I absolutely love Vera and Wire in the Blood etc. But they are a bit more bleak and gritty.

Almost didn't watch as wasn't a fan of the first series.

Thought I'd give it a go and thoroughly enjoyed it, made me laugh out loud a few times. 90 minutes would've been better though , 2 hours was a bit long.
