Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

Got to say, I've actually rewatched episode 2 today, which didn't happen for most of the last series. I'm enjoying this quite a lot. I like the new characters and the fact that there are finally lots of extras on set making it look a little bit more realistic. Glad to see there aren't only 6 soldiers representing the British Army throughout the rest of the world.

As much as CJ, Molly and series 1 will always be may favourite, I find I can bear this series better with the thought that CJ has 'gone off' back to Molly - I do hope that Georgie mentions this to Fingers at some point or confesses all to the dishy doctor when they exchange confidences at some point. Mind you, he's not the first doctor in her life is he? Wonder where JJ is now - enjoying vol au vents with Judy perhaps?

It's been my birthday today - the most strange birthday ever I think! I've celebrated tonight by watching episode 2 again but fell asleep halfway through. This was nothing to do with the acting, more to do with my celebratory wine I had with my birthday tea!

Just popping back to say hello - long time now since I posted on the threads. Happy belated birthday Ilove! Missing CJ very much, our new officer is no substitute. I can't believe there's been no mention of him, all the Elvis flashbacks but it's as if the last series never happened! Can't we have the odd CJ flashback to keep us happy?!

I love this scene where Kingy is showing his authority and then in the background, we hear our new lieutenant playing his trumpet!

Fingers seems to have grown up quite a bit. Towards the end of S3 and now as a married man.
