Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

I'm all set for the watchalong - though I will have my eyes closed during one of the flashbacks!
OG2:2 was great - but I've a soft spot for the second aborted wedding and that scene after the terrorist attacks in Manchester when he comes in through her bedroom window. Oh, and the first 35 minutes of OG 3:4 - especially when he is lurking round the hospital when Rab and Maisie are slagging each other off. Sigh!

PS - does anyone know if we are going to have Special Forces again and, if so, will it include Spanner and Peanut?

Not sure about the SF guys again but I hope so. I love Peanut - he seems such a dependable chap.

I believe that there will be special forces in this series. Not sure who it will be, though.

I've been watching QT as well. Finding one of the chaps a bit annoying, the one on the extreme left. Not sure who he is, and he may be right, but still vaguely irritating.

Wonder if they are wearing the correct uniforms - it's one of those weddings where the groom upstages the bride. Gosh, that is a very tight dress, Marie must have walked up there with her knees together.

I reckon Nan was a very young mum, she doesn't seem much older than either of her "children", she must be reliving her lost youth.

The platoon is now on a training exercise on Salisbury Plain (presumably we might be able to follow this one better than those we've seen recently on Soldier Soldier, eh Rhu).
