Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

Oh how fortunate, the newbie has done the other soldier a favour by shooting him because he wanted to leave anyway and now he's unfit. Let's not think about the fact he might suffer PTSD after being shot!

Newbie is getting a dressing down from the Colonel.

Dr Sadie asks the Colonel to coie to her office where she delivers the bad news that she's asking for a transfer. She's seen the light and realises what it would be like in a clandestine long term relationship with him whilst both working on the same base.

Well, he got off lightly I reckon being fined £800.

Poor new boy. What a start to his career.

Marsha is driving home and almost knocks a little boy off his bike. I think she has had a wake up call re her drinking and lifestyle.

Rory's not come out of this very well. He's had a rotten time of it lately.

Poor Rory. I hope it doesn't affect his career as much as the Colonel is indicating.

Marsha has now admitted to Dr Sadie that she thinks Michael is having an affair and she's been drinking too much. Sadie is being a bit patronising.

Marsha goes to see Dr Sadie and pours her heart out with all her personal problems.

Dr Sadie is staying but she's told him there's no point in their relationship because they don't want the same thing at all. So that is that.

Sadie has definitely seen sense. It serves the Colonel right. He wants it all his own way.

So..... next week? I can only do Monday or Tuesday as I am then away for a few days.

Tuesday would be better than Monday for me next week.

Tuesday it is then.

Has there been any news on when the latest OG series is likely to air? Surely it can't be long now.

It's got to be soon. Possibly two weeks? There's a trailer out for it now. I'll try to attach the link here if I can find it. From what I saw, it looks as if everything is finally catching up with George, much as we all said it surely would if you consider everything that has happened.

Will have to watch and listen again - I swear it sounds like CJ saying "They're targeting the hospital" but don't know if that's an old recording from series 2 or someone who sounds like him. Nice shots of Elvis though eejit.

I only saw Kingy eejit. Possibly the "targeting the hospital" is a CJ soundalike - intriguing! I reckon that Georgie and CJ are definitely not an item, not if she is still traumatised by memories of Elvis. So little to go on and so much to speculate about. I will enjoy watching it I am sure, even if I don't feel the same way as I did about series 1 or even series 2.

Caught sight of the OG trailer at about 5.45 this morning but only became aware it was actually on there when it was nearly over I missed most of it!! Not quite awake enough 🙄 anyway I did notice it said streaming now on iPlayer. However I've had no joy so far in finding it on there and even with Rhu's link didn't manage to get it. Anyway at least we now know the series should start soon.

Are we ready for the watchalong? It's "Stick Together" and there's a picture of Michael on the front screen so I presume it's something about his affair with the aid worker he met in Bosnia. Can't remember her name at this stage.

I'll wait a bit till anyone else comes online.
