Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

I thought he ignored her when she phoned. I don't remember her telling him to get lost. He's just called her and asked her out to lunch and she said yes?

Not good, Marsha is in her dressing gown on the sofa with the TV on and has been asleep.

Ooops, ignore my comment about Dr Sadie. I was getting mixed up with the episodes.

I keep forgetting he's called Paul.

Colonel Paul and Dr Sadie have a secret assignation.

That's a very short dress Colette is wearing.

Yawn, yawn more exercises on the range. I can't imagine finding any of this remotely fun, but I've never enjoyed Laser Quest either. In fact, it made me positively annoyed.

Dr Sadie is waiting for the Colonel. Hand holding taking place. He seems a bit anxious about his car.

Wake me up when the exercise is over.

Gosh Dr Sadie could roll her eyes for England - they are visible from about 100 metres.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! That's me joining in with the exercise.

She has quite protruding eyes - she's just quite odd looking and I don't think her hairstyle flatters her in the least.

Oh no, the new lad has accidentally shot one of the soldiers.

Poor Rory - nothing ever goes well and how come no new member of the platoon ever seems to get away without causing a catastrophe of some kind?

Colonel has to leave because of the exercise and is very tetchy and behaving like an idiot. He is not doing himself any favours in Sadie's eyes. He is now blaming himself for not being present i.e. for going out to dinner with Sadie. Hmmm!

The Colonel gets a page (when did we last use pagers?) to say there's been trouble out on the exercise and has to cut short his expensive lunch to return to base.

Does Clive, the 2iC suspect what the Colonel has been up to?

So Rory is reluctantly taking responsibility for the exercise that went wrong. Feel a bit sorry for the newbie.

Here's Marsha's gig at the posh hotel - looks like a corporate dinner. I hope they don't feel short changed by the entertainment.

So, is it a double glazing firm and have they constructed an conservatory in the ballroom?

Marsha is doing her turn at the sales conference. Not sure I've done any work things with a cabaret thrown in for good measure. Thankfully, work conferences are a thing of the distant past for me now!

Poor new boy Butcher must think his army career has ended before it's even begun.

Dr Sadie saves the day with the car and delivers good news on the injured soldier. Colonel tells himself off for taking Sadie out and not being on duty.

Sadie tells him the truth and good for her, it's his fault and not hers.

Why is Sadie at Marsha's house?

Dr Sadie turns up in the Colonel's office and is not very happy with his attitude about lunch and so forth. She goes off in a huff (fully justified in my opinion).

Nurse was a bit slow on the uptake....ooh echoes of "He's gone off!"

Oh dear. It rather looks as if Colette has been to speak with Dr Sadie about Marsha's drinking problem.

The lads go to see the wounded soldier in hospital. His heart stops and they are doing CPR and shock him too. Can't understand why the lads are still there - I should have thought they'd have been moved out of the way.

Colonel comes over to see Sadie. Sadie wants a new posting away from the regiment. Paul apparently loves her but he doesn't want anyone to know. She is thinking it will be best for them both. I don't think she's too impressed with him.
