I was never a big fan of hers but this show is making me feel very sad. Jade was in her own way quite vulnerable and naive and she was treated horribly by the press. She did some stupid things on camera including stripping off (though the other contestants made no effort to tell her it wasn't the best idea and that awful Kate whatsherface looked positively gleeful) but I feel for her more now than I did then.

And to think she was so full of life and was taken so young is just heart breaking

And they fucking fat shamed her in the name of comedy with a "hilarious" comedian wearing a sumo suit and pretending to be her. How the hell was that allowed?

Agreed. I didn’t like her at the time but in hindsight she was treated appallingly by the producers and the press. Very sad she died so young.

I didn't like her at the time either- mainly the racism incidents but she was uneducated and very vulnerable born with Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and her mother admitted she rolled joints for her at five. Terribly sad. RIP Jade taken too soon.

I've always had a lot of respect for Jeff Brazier. He seemed to give her such a lot of stability, even though she rejected it in the end.

It's still really hard to forget how she behaved on CBB though...........

I never really like Jeff he's always seeing quite big headed.
Used to tell Jade what to do when they were on a reality TV show. Back to reality on channel 5.

I never had strong feelings about jade when she was alive. I remember feeling very sorry for her when she was in BB as she was clearly being made a mockery of by some of the others in the house and I knew what the media would do to her once she was out. Her mother was also very clearly a piece of shit. Poor jade.

I loved her, I thought she was fascinating, she was only 7 years older than me and I remember being 14 when she was on big brother, I followed her religiously, I loved Jeff brazier even more. Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since she died. She didn’t change for no one an di liked that.

I liked Jeff Brazier. He saw her for the person she was. She had a shit start in life and who knows what she could have been with loving decent parents (with or without BB)
I would have felt sorry for her even if she hadn't died young. Strangely I didn't thrn, but now I can see she was just a vulnerable young girl craving love and attention - something that had been sadly lacking in her life up until then

I didn’t like her at the time, and whilst it’s horrendous she died young, her poor boys, I’m not going to start liking her now. She may have been vulnerable but she was also racist and vile. Again, terribly sad the way she died, for her and her family. But I am not going to gush about her.

I loved Jade from the minute she arrived on our screens. She was determined to drag herself up by the bootlaces. She had a good soul I believe.

I didn't like her when she was in the BB house, although I was horrified by the media coverage. But I really admired how she came out, took all the abuse on the chin and got on with getting herself out of the pit she was born into. It was sad when she died from such a preventable disease.
