Good win for Goffin though, am really pleased for him. Hope he can give a good account of himself tomorrow - he was great in that QF v Djok at Wimbledon, the score didn't reflect it at all. I remember he hit more winners than Djok throughout yet one of the sets was 6-0 or 6-1! He'd have a good chance to beat Medvedev though.

Sam was just saying that back when Gasquet and Rafa were coming onto the scene at the same time, people were predicting that they would play each other in loads of GS finals etc. Funny how things work out. I hope Richard can get a couple of decent years more out of his career.

Richard really is a player that just didn't have the right game to consistently threaten the top players- despite being really talented, and lovely to watch. Like a lot of players- he was born at the wrong time .

I agree, David's scoreline at Wimbledon didn't reflect how he played.
I'm just so bored with Djok. He came back, and took over. Again.

I know, yawn. If he wins this I'm going to be so annoyed. Like what has he actually done to deserve it?! (Apart from win a load of matches that I haven't bothered to watch)??

Whereas lovely David Goffin winning would be great.

It's true about Gasquet Raahh he's so talented and great to watch. But I can't imagine him battling it out in a GS final, he just doesn't seem to have the ruthlessness of Djok etc. It's such a shame.
