I've just realised that Sascha isn't playing Struff, Stefanos is, so maybe Sascha will fight another round.He plays Kecmanovic, a Serbian qualifier.

But Stef has been hit and miss of late, so he could fall foul of JL.

I hope Sascha doesn't lose to a qualifier.

I'm able to watch the women now because DH has signed up for BT Sport. Unfortunately it means I'll be plagued with extra football.

Confusingly (for me anyway) nishikori and Nishioka are playing each other - Keith has lost the first set.

Hope that Stefanos doesn’t get Struffed.

I’m not sure that Sascha getting four dogs is a good idea - Raahh you could maybe help him out - you seem to have a lot of dog walking experience

The crowd do seem a bit subdued - I guess it’s still quite early in Cincinnati- they definitely need the superstar DJ to get some atmosphere going

Jane you have my sympathies with the football - although DH did put his foot down last night and said he was fed up of watching tennis all the time

Who is the female commentator? She’s quite shouty but I don’t recognise her voice.

I fear for Sascha with his new dog responsibilities - he needs to concentrate on his tennis!

I noticed Nish and Nish were playing each other, very confusing.

I could offer my services walking Sascha's dogs. Would have to leave my grumpy dog at home though. He would get very jealous.
