Does anyone know when this will be aired? Last year it said expected first week of May but can’t find it. Paranoid I’ll miss it, I love that series

And does anyone know what happened to Child of Our Time and Born to be special (not sure that was the name)? Are they still going?

Born to be Different was the other one. Some of the children had become so poorly last time it was shown.

Shelbie has very sadly passed away Sad there is a thread and Zoe popped on to tell us they are filming again.

I didn’t know there was going to be a 63 up, bloody love that series. Felt like lots were pulling away from it so assumed was last one- have you seen any news/promotional material saying it’s happening leyani?

I saw something on Facebook not so long ago showing a clip of teenagers guessing what life would be like in the 2000s - does anyone have a link to the previous episodes? I also loved child of our time - how come the funding got cut?

What happened to the new 7Up? I swear they started a new one about 10-15 years ago then I never saw it mentioned again. Does anyone else remember that?

F83mx - Only remember reports of it being filmed in October last year, and mentioning may, so I'd put a reminder in my diary to check.

Thanks everyone else for the info on other series. That's a big shame about Child of our time.

I have loved watching the 7Up series. I'm 45 and remember watching some of the episodes at school.
Looks like 63Up will be available to view this month 🙂

ITV are doing a promo screening event middle of this month so should hopefully be on our screens towards the end - Ill post a date as soon as see an ad .

I’ve been watching 7Up since I was a kid, my mum got me into it. I’ll be hanging on for an update on the next one. Child Of Our Time was absolutely excellent, what a shame for it to end, although I seem to recall some really sad elements to the last one. It’s life, of course, but watching people hurting can feel intrusive and wrong.

The old episodes are available to buy on DVD or you can download them on Amazon or iTunes.

Such a shame re Child of Our Time. They were a year older than DD so they’d be doing A Levels now.
And I first watched 7Up at school - would love to see the next update.
I find all this sort of thing fascinating really. I even look back on my own childhood and that of my friends’ and can’t believe how life turned out for some of us.

No they'd have done A levels last year if they were born in the first half of 2000, this year if later in the year. They will all be turning 19 this year.

I remember the new 7up, it started in the year 2000 when they were all turning 7. I had it on video taped off the tv!

I saw a trailer for 63 up this morning. It's on in June.
