It's been on the market for years. They tried to change it to a wedding venue but the plans were rejected. I think Dawn will leave for the reasons you say. I cannot believe people seriously make livings as "influencers". It brings out the Maoist in me.

I had a nosy at companies house. Dawn resigned from one of the few remaining active companies she and Ashley shares last month. And they also added half a million of ‘intangible assets’. Is this the Wards trying to protect some assets from any financial fallout on Dawn? Pure speculation...
Their cosmetic surgery business is still going, but it is not doing well, losing assets year on year.

Which company is that, please? I just looked on Companies House in curiosity because, dullness alert, it is really difficult to add intangible assets to your entity balance sheet unless you buy a book of business from a third party or capitalise the cost of building software to the extent that it is separable and brings future economic benefit to the entity.

You can’t capitalise your own ‘brand’ or intellectual property if you develop it yourself because it’s very difficult to value accurately and may not bring future cashflows into the company.

I can see that she’s still ‘live’ as a director of Skulpt and Dawn Ward Limited, but I can’t see intangibles on either balance sheet?

Agree that Skulpt is not a great business but their net liabilities in the latest set of accounts they filed (for 31 December 2018) had shrunk by £1k, so they must have made a post-tax profit of that much. Alexis Carrington need fear no rival in Dawn Ward.

I always laugh when I see the accounts of celebrities, confidently signed by them. You just know that you could get anything past them if you were their accountant. If they by some miracle asked a pertinent question, you could look at them steadily and start talking about deferred tax, then watch the terror on their poor little faces.

Sly little dig at announcing pregnancy at a vow renewal? It wasn’t sly - she said it right out. It isn’t good form - most would realise that. And more so when the IVF thing was understandably hurting her and it was horrid to see.

hanna was wrong there - she did turn it back round to her.

And I’m not a fan of Lozzer sometimes but good on her for having Nicole’s back.

Shame she doesn’t carry on next week. I think they are acting like a pack of bullying witches and Nicole knows it and is bristling.

@Iamthewombat if you search for Ashley’s companies, it is one of the few still active. Hmm interesting times.

Always bad form to make your own announcement at someone else’s event, Hanna was wrong there (though this was 3 months ago). Also, saying you understand multiple IVF failures as it took a few months to get pregnant, ridiculous and insensitive.

Nicole is hard work though, I guess she doesn’t find it so easy to keep friends.

Thanks @Loftyloft. I am now intrigued about what R&D they have done in the lossmaking interior design company they attempted to shut down and then revived. Maybe noted tastemaker John Caudwell, who appears to be Dawn’s main client, commissioned them to construct a genuine miniature erupting volcano for his London house, for the room in which he eats his Neapolitan pizzas or something (not as far fetched as it sounds: he wanted a stream with fish running through his Thai food dining room).

I was brought up in a fairly staid NE town. You tooted your own flute at your peril and blaws were just not tolerated. It is what is. If it is acceptable elsewhere then great. Just not great but grating for me alas.

The vowel robber may have the fan base to win. I truly can’t see Maisie doing it. Me? I’m now tooting my flute for Bill and Biscuits. They have brought me joy and have progressed the most - even with their wee plateaus.

I’m also tooting my flute for Nicole in this instance as the others need to look at themselves a bit.
