I sat slightly confused at all the endless demand of Lycra to “be proud of you body”. Erm..why the massive amounts of surgery to make it look different then?
She looks fabulous but then I think they all have toned up in lockdown. Neither Tan and Ha wanted to be part of the body confidence ( show off) thing. Would love to have seen Ester have a go at this instead. Can you imagine her at Lystra together. Not sure glitter paint will have ever been there before.

This seems to have become the Lystra show. I agree with Leflic - talking about body confidence after so much surgery is nonsense. Rachel should look at sister Katie's lips and think on.

Laughing my head off at this thread. We are local so watch to spot places we know mainly and we see them filming quite a lot.

Thought Tan's gay mate Bobby was yet another vain nightmare. What a boring trip to London that was! In fact, everything looks so faked and stilted with them standing 2 meters away from each other. Just accentuates the crapness.

The supposed comments on her supposed account sound as if someone (hopefully not the production team) has been trawling forums possibly even this one for ideas. I can't remember where but I have definitely read folk suggesting that Dawn faked Covid or Nicole is odd.

Just caught up on last nights - they really went in on Lystra! I'm not a massive fan of hers but Seema and Nicole defo should have just quietly asked her about it rather than let gobby Lauren bring it up at the dinner table!

Also, surely you would have cross referenced the account names before attacking her like that? Basic internet sleuthing! 😂

Lauren is so funny, she tries to talk posh and her mouth goes in all directions, you can’t make a silk purse out of a cows ear luv!!

Wouldn’t surprise me if the whole thing has been set up by the production team, just to create drama.

I love Seema and was surprised that she didn’t have a quiet word with Lystra first but then again, where’s the fun In that!

Found the episode with Lystra and the fake social media posts very uncomfortable viewing. She was rightly aggrieved and voicing her opinion, and she was told she should have been 'humble' and stay calm. Have people got no idea of the current context and understanding stereotypes. Surprised producers let that go out.

Very uncomfortable. Poor Lystra. Seema should be ashamed of herself.

That fake Lystra account thing was pathetic, as if an intelligent business woman such as Seema wouldn't have realised it was a fake account, I mean, all they had to do was cross her check account details. Pathetic and very nasty to poor Lystra who was unite rightly distraught & angry.

Funny how we are seeing a lot of Dawn and Lystra ("I know you the best out of everyone Lystra") now that D's racism charge has been made known.....

It was another really poor episode, the London one was very boring and this episode was a really uncomfortable watch with the Lystra dinner party scenes.

I wasn't a massive Lystra fan to start, I'm don't like all the fakeness but I thought she was attacked and I've certainly warmed to her, I thought we seen a bit more of the real Lystra come out with her 1-2-1 chat with T. I'm looking forward to seeing how the girls redeem themselves after this and how Lystra handles it all.
I would of reacted the same as Lystra at those silly accusations.

Wow Seema is so 2 faced!!!! She verbally went in for Lystra and backtracked when she realised it wasnt Lystra's account.

She stated it as though it was from Lystra at first. Then blamed the others. I used to think she was the most honest and likable - gone right off her!

I really laughed when Lauren complained that Lystra wasn’t showing enough “humbleness”.

Humility, Lauren. The word is ‘humility’.

Anyhow, I didn’t get why Lystra needed to show humility. She is a nightmare and I wouldn’t want to be friends with her (the fact that she keeps the company of Dawn and Nick/Royston should be a clue) but why does she need to be humble in the presence of that shower?

I am also watching the old series, broadcast at lunchtime. Last week it was the trip to Gibraltar, during which Rachel’s sister, Gibraltar resident Katie, treated us all to boasts about how rich she and her husband are (with a wealth of £30m they are deemed rich enough to buy a house in Jersey and live there).

I was intrigued by the husband, particularly when she and Rachel went on about Katie preferring the older man because she likes a ‘father figure’, hmmm.

Turns out he is Michael Kane, the brother of Peter Kane, who founded UK Mail as a taxi courier service in 1971 and hit the jackpot when the business was sold to Deutsche Post in 2016. Katie’s husband was a shareholder. He is almost 70 and appears to be an enthusiastic user of ‘Just for Men’. I’m sure that they are very happy.

Other revelations about the Lugo marriage from the repeats: when Rachel was being introduced as a new housewife, she said that she saw women flocking around John in a restaurant (what first attracted you to millionaire John Lugo etc etc) and that she thought that he must have something going for him, thus asked him out. So she chased after him.

They’ve started the trailers for the Real Housewives of Jersey as it will start next week. They got the logo wrong with the outline of Jersey flipped the wrong way round! Research people, that’s all it takes, a bit of research!
One of the pictures shows a woman by the pool in ‘her’ house but you can see that there’s no furniture in the house a) it’s for sale and b) it’s not hers! So much fakery 😂😂

I’m not sure I was buying the claims that bejewelled tatas and walloping them about (trotting down the lobby) was all in the name of body confidence.

You can look confident and celebrate the human form in clothes.

As said above, I haven’t been a fan of Lacklystra from the get go (hence the name) and still am not keen but I was appalled at that dinner party.

They are seemingly intelligent women and yet they didn’t check the account? Mon now.

Seema should take the shame on that. It was disgraceful.

Almost felt sorry for Lystra during that exchange (which appeared to take place in a posh synagogue. The windows were frosted with pictures of menorahs. Think Lauren organised the dinner party so that would make sense). Those women are such cats. They are all kissy huggy ‘hello darling you look gorgeous’ until they feel threatened and then the claws come out.

I don’t think that Lystra is necessarily equipped to deal with them anyway: they are not smart women overall but Lystra doesn’t even seem to understand her own body confidence argument and can’t see its flaws. It’s as if she’s memorised some soundbites but can’t put any substance behind them when challenged: she just repeats the same thing.

She clearly can’t see that body confidence is NOT paying a fortune to get your bum pumped full of silicone, or your lips done, or your eyelashes extended to a length that looks as if you’ve got fraught excluders glued on, or twerking in a chic, quiet hotel bar. Each to their own, of course, but she’s not coming across as swift.

I always think that women like Lystra seem quite damaged. Why would you do that to your body, present a cartoonish image of femininity, akin to a drag queen? She must get a lot of negative attention. Gawd knows the rest of us do as it is. The dinner part was shameful.

I feel sad for her too. I look at her and think there's probably a nice person under there, your bum and boobs were fine, your face lovely. All of them have contorted themselves to some "ideal", but Lystra seems more victim than most.

She has good pins, lovely skin and a wonderful face. I dread to think what is floating around to produce a harris like that .

I would stick out like a manky thumb in Cheshire. Fat, wrinkly, bit frazzled in every respect and a bit battered with the ugly stick.

I just feel sad that those who were born with clear advantages in the perceived beauty stakes really don’t feel that they are enough.
