This can't be real, surely? Who would be insane enough? I've never seen the show, but do they explain if it's actually an official marriage? I would have thought that the whole concept goes against the solemn nature of the legal contract.

There's no pleasing Steph. It would've been nice of her to have been a bit more gracious about the jewellery, she had got her way after all so didn't need to still be huffing and puffing. She knew she never has to see him again and her parting gift to him could've been to just bloody accept the gift in the spirit he was trying to give her it in.

Jonathan couldn't win. Stephanie was a bitch. I also wish he hadn't apologised for the annulment card. She was never in it.

I didn't think Jack and Verity would make it. But I think Jack was decent and meant to try.

Am I the only person who didn't like Jonathan? I thought he was really irritating and actually quite passive aggressive.

We were all right about Jack. He never fancied Verity. In fairness to him, I think he genuinely tried to give it a go, but you can’t force yourself to fancy someone.

So the zero success rate continues . Then an advert for next series . . Who would .

I think Verity was the nicest person of the four people featured. I do hope she meant what she said about putting herself first.

Poor Verity, feel like he lead her on a bit and he's the sort that blows hot and cold. She must be feeling very let down. I think if you agree to do this then you must be desperate to make a lasting relationship with some one after a lot of rejection and then end up back where you were, with a big dent in your self esteem.

Agreed. You would think it was a dog sh1te he was offering to her.
Interesting how she really did not like that he was the one who ended the whole thing by leaving the annulment papers for her. She looked more animated than she had done throughout, when she arrived at the house after that.
Maybe it was the editing, but she really didn't come across well, IMO.

Stephanie didn't seem very nice at all. Jonathan seemed like a nice guy.

Also feel sorry for Verity - his dad was obviously right at the end of the day - Jack prioritises looks over all other aspects, not matter how much he was claiming to do otherwise in a 'new me' kind of way.

I'm watching this on 4+1 and it's got audio description on. I can't turn it off but it made me laugh in the first 5 minutes steph sighs deeply

Poor Verity. I thought Jack was good looking, I couldn’t work out whether he was in this as a way to get into reality tv or if he was genuine.
I really loved that Jonathan gave her the papers. He was flogging a dead horse.

I think I was a lone voice about Jack’s dad at their wedding. He was right. He did know his son better than they thought.

Feel so sorry for Verity. She seems a really lovely person bless her.

Another match that could have been avoided on pets.
Last year there was that woman that clearly hated dogs and this year Jonathan allergic to cats.
Maybe they should match just on pets.

Jack doesn't have a nice smile.. bad teeth.

I had high hopes for verity and jack.
But it was never going to work when he thought he was better than her (he wasn’t), it was just feeding her insecurities which only seemed to be growing as time went on.

When she took him home to Norwich and said it’s a lovely place to bring up kids. He looked like sparks may fly off his heels.
