Married At First Sight- is this for real?

This can't be real, surely? Who would be insane enough? I've never seen the show, but do they explain if it's actually an official marriage? I would have thought that the whole concept goes against the solemn nature of the legal contract.

I can't watch this tonight and I am surprisingly desperate to know what's happening.

Jack needs to get over himself. Verity is just as attractive as he is. In my opinion anyway.

Ouch at the annulment paperwork and the way it was presented ! Steph is a bit of a misery guts. I feel really sad for Jonathan, but those two are soooo incompatible.

Well, she deserved that. She said she wanted self assurance and he certainly dished some of that.

I’ve watched all these. UK, USA and AUS. This series is the worst pairing of the lot - those two are seriously mismatched. She needs a confident, edgy type. He’s mature yes, but he’s also ‘sweet’ and wishy washy. Was never going to work!

Verity is way better looking than Jack! I could shake her... she comes across as such a desperate door mat.

Jonathan can't win. He got in ahead of Steph with the papers and she ain't happy.

Jack is only 25 I just don't know why he did this at this stage in his life.

I think Verity doesn't think it is 'fine' about the no sex so far at all

Jack isn’t necessarily better looking than Verity but her insecurities are so obvious and his bravado and confidence helps elevate him

Steph has spent weeks talking to and treating Jonathan like shit, and now she’s all like “boo hoo he left annulment papers under my pillow” trying to make him look the bad guy in all this.

She has had a face like a slapped arse since day 2. He’s too good for her.

I want to know what would make Stephanie face not look like a slapped arse.

Oh, I wish they'd matched Verity with Jonathan. But, god, Steph's sighing was so infuriating and rude. Wish Jonathan hadn't then tried to be nice about the annulment - but that's the "problem" with nice people.

Neither of the couples work though

Jack is an arrogant little twat thinking he's better looking than verity.
He does absolutely nothing for me looks or personality wise, she is lovely looking.
Some of her hand gestures are a bit weird. I can't see it working out unfortunately.

Sick of hearing Steph and her dramatic sighs. I’m glad Jonathon ended it and I’m not surprised he did it that way instead of talking to her.

Poor Jonathan I really feel for Him. Stephanie has not come across well he’s dammed if he does and damned if he doesn’t.

Out of thousands of applicants they only managed to get two badly matched couples to walk down the aisle. This is a bit of a disaster. The last we'll see of the UK version?

There's no pleasing Steph. It would've been nice of her to have been a bit more gracious about the jewellery, she had got her way after all so didn't need to still be huffing and puffing. She knew she never has to see him again and her parting gift to him could've been to just bloody accept the gift in the spirit he was trying to give her it in.

Verity is lovely.
