Married At First Sight- is this for real?

This can't be real, surely? Who would be insane enough? I've never seen the show, but do they explain if it's actually an official marriage? I would have thought that the whole concept goes against the solemn nature of the legal contract.

Oof, Steph won’t last long. Jonathan is trying way too hard and not being himself, it would totally put me off.

Can’t believe Jack and Verity wanted to go through this at a relatively young age. She is lovely but agree I don’t think he fancies her.

I really can't tell at the moment. At first I thought he was a right knob but he does seem to be taking it quite seriously.

I think the rot will set in when she meets his parents again though. His dad is an arse and doesn't like Verity and I imagine he is one of those lads who really is easily swayed.

I think Stephanie is very mean, I really wouldn’t want my friend marrying her. Is there a big age gap? They have totally different lifestyles.
