New documentary due to be released on Netflix on Friday.

I've covered this subject quite extensively while I was studying law. I will be watching with a heavy heart, it is just one of those cases I can't let go of sadly.

Anyone else going to be watching?

In both Ben and James' cases they were not left unsupervised for 30 minutes unlike the Tapas 9's small children were .

Not going out to eat and drink and leaving her infants and toddlers to it, if you're sticking to facts.

Looking at the whether the apartment was locked or not, would it not have entered the McCann's heads that Madeline may have wandered off and fallen into the swimming pool?

I'm not denying that there are inconsistencies - though I guess if you repeat it often enough you'll believe it . It's the way you insert little statements like that which undermines your posts .

And do you really think that saying Kate was hysterical ( stated by several witnesses in the police statements ) is me trying to mind read and playing armchair detective ?

To be fair to the McCann everyone also assumed Ben Needham had been abducted too.

I've always thought the bed looks like a child climbed out of it, when you remove a sleeping child from a bed, you have to pull the covers right off the child or they get tangled up when you lift the child and will end up half on the floor. If they get out themselves, they just fold them over, like Madeleine's bed in the photos.

peridito that was a major inconsistency. Gerry's sister said the window has been forced open because that's what Kate told her. She also told the police that. It was retracted after the finger print evidence showed that it was Kate that opened the window and that the window was neither forced nor broken. That's a pretty massive inconsistency.

There's no evidence of the apparent note on the restuarant booking sheet about leaving kids alone.

Gerry said he talked to his friend for 30 minutes, the friend said it was more like 3-5 minutes.

For the record I don't think they killed her and hid her body, I think that's just ridiculous. If they overdosed her they would have taken her to hospital. But I do think they are covering for the fact that their so called checks were not as thorough as they claim. They don't deserve what they've gone though or what happened to her. It's deeply sad and I wish they would just admit their mistake, because you never know, it may help the police.

I've read nothing in the JP reports of fingerprinting that show this . They say that they found only fingerprints consistent with the occupants of the apartment . And also that no attempt had been made to preserve the crime scene from contanimation by the many ppl ,including officials ,in the flat .

No bold typed warnings from me that I'll be scouring the internet .

But let's not make any effort to be accurate or support our statements .

Did the Tapas 7 eat inside the restaurant or outside on the patio. I read it was inside on the evening but I’m not sure.

interestingly, if that is true then KM and GM had their backs to the apartment. Also, images from the actual Tapas bar don't show any tables around which nine people could sit...

I really hope Social Care is regularly checking on all the Tapas 9 families since.

Greatduck, I've been a parent for many years and and have worked with troubled families for 10 years and have never come across such blatant, selfish acts of neglect as the Tapas 9 showed by leaving their very young children alone .
With or without regular check ups it was foolhardy at the very least.
Before you would even think of abduction you'd think 'what
if they get out of bed and fall'?
'what if they are sick, frightened, thirsty, have a bad dream.....fall out of bed ?'
They were a group of selfish, stupid people who were easily influenced by each other .

I hope that have all been put on a Parenting course and are regularly checked up on .

So from those timelines, that means Russell O'Brien was actually in the building when/if she was abducted! I didn't realise that, I thought they were all in the restuarant.
