Such a great episode tonight. Bright is breathtakingly good.

As soon as Morse asked that woman out she was a certainty to die or be the killer - as per virtually every episode of Morse.

I'm not surprised about Thursday. He's always been a bit dodgy in the way he has no qualms about beating up suspects and last week's planting of evidence. Being desperate for money he was an easy target for Box.

Seems like Bright doesn't trust him either otherwise why would he insist it had to be Morse to come out to the RTA?

Maybe we'll finally see McNutt...

I love Anton Lesser, he was heartbreaking.

I'm very concerned about Fred. I have a nasty feeling next week could be the last time we see him. Incidentally, if there's no money, how can Win afford to keep going out all the time?

I thought Win had another man - her dance partner and whoever was upstairs with her last week?

Sorry for being thick but I only saw bits and pieces of last night's episodes. What do you all mean by Fred going over to her dark side? I should obviously pay more attention

Dave, Fred being corrupt. Maybe that's why Endeavour never gets together with Joanie (if he's part of the reason her father goes down)

Fred took the proverbial brown envelope from Box, and joined them in their drinking den. Box is somehow implicated in the drugs storyline, and by association, George Fancy's murder.

Does Thursday's name ever crop up in Morse episodes (for those of you who may have rewatched them recently)?

Hasn't Win had to get a job? Could explain where she is getting the money from to go out.

The body in the chocolate factory was very similar to the Morse episode with the family brewery business where they drowned in the beer. 😮

I thought Win went out to get a job before they lost their money. Didn't she say that once Joan and the son had left, there was nothing left for her to do at home?
