Dont know about netflix as I am a cheapskate but no Morse on ITV hub at the moment. Theres a few Lewis episodes and the early series of Endeavour are being repeated so they are partly available with more coming up.

I expect Morse will be repeated again soon, they usually do them every day for a couple of weeks and then break for a month or so.

Series 3 is being re-run in ITV3 (starting last night).

Of Endeavour that is - not Morse.

Morse episodes seem to be available on YouTube. Tried watching ep.1 series 1 yesterday and was quite frightened off by all those 80s clothes/hairstyles. I also mistook Gemma Jones for Lia Williams on first glance.

I recognised the house as where he lived during the Morse years, although as previous poster pointed out it could have been a flat as we didn't see many of the other rooms. I noticed the ad in the estate agent window said 4 bedroom house though so I don't know. Also need to rewatch The Remorseful Day as my mind is telling me he was living somewhere different in that episode? Vaguely recall different views from the windows but I could be getting mixed up with something else.

Great last episode though, really suspenseful

I was talking about Endeavour in the optician this morning with another customer. After accidentally telling someone who won Strictly at Christmas I always check before discussing. The lady hadn't seen Sunday's episode. I told her it was edge of the seat viewing!!

The actual house/flat is in Ealing. Was a bit disappointed as I was going to have a nosey when I lived in Oxford.

They did offer to put me up in a hotel while they blew out the windows of the house opposite during the night for an episode of Lewis though. We all stayed put as it was far too exciting.

I just have a clear picture in my mind of him sat at what looked like a kitchen table (tumbler of whiskey at hand, natch) and looking out of the window over the skyline, like he was upstairs rather than in the usual 'front room' setting? Don't think he could've done that from that house.

Another one here who really enjoys Endeavour. I've never seen Morse so I'm waiting for it to come back on, which I'm sure it will one day.

Me & DH also both cheered out loud when the other police turned up with Morse!

One question from the past though - why did Morse and his black nurse neighbour split up? Did she get killed?

They had made plans to leave the UK together, but he got arrested and she was very worried about him. When he got out of jail he moved into a tiny place by a lake, so I think they just drifted apart. They were good together so it was a shame.

It's Shaun Evans birthday today he is 39.

I looked at the Morse and Strange actors' ages. Find it amusing that in Endeavour Sean Rugby is 9 years younger than Shaun Evans, then Strange ages very quickly because James Grout was 15 years older than John Thaw

I'd happily bake Shaun a cake and make sure his birthday was very happy. Andrea Corr might not be too happy with that though!

Talking of actors ages though must stop aging because shuan is already 39 and john was 45 when he started playing morse in 1987. So morse only ages 6 years in the next 18 years.

That might be a case of dramatic licence though just to get the message across that he'd bought somewhere. Initially I did take it that he had bought the whole house though and was wondering how he could have afforded it, particularly when contrasted with Thursday's very modest home.
