Another series about the torture, rape and murder of young women. Why is this seen as Sunday night entertainment? It's horrible, lazy TV. We've just turned off in resigned disgust. Misogyny as culture. Fuck that shit.

I spotted that the 'girlfriend' in the coffee house was actually a man. Told DH straight away - " she cannot get married because she cannot legally get married - she's a transitioned man". He didn't believe me. One up for me Grin

Feebeela curious to know why you see it as misogyny? A friend of mine works with women who has been trafficked into prostitution and it is rampant any exposure is surely a good thing? Every western nation has trafficked women forced into prostitution it is horrendous and definitely not exaggerated in programmes like this

A documentary about trafficking and abuse is one thing. A violent drama on purely for entertainment is quite different, and is becoming a cliché on television.
