Can you believe we are on thread 50! This is for all discussions on the BBC series Our Girl and any possible future series. Reference to Captain James is particularly welcome.

I think the shop assistant has a very seductive way of saying 'Size 10'.

Tony is hilariously over the top with the breathing assistance.

When did nurses stop wearing those daft frilly caps?

No idea ilove they stopped wearing anything resembling uniform it seems - all those scrubs all the time.

Again, I guess they're just so much more practical than all that starch and belts and frills and stuff!

Poor Paddy - he's got nothing but an empty room in barracks to return to.

Mrs Cadman seems so much younger than her husband. I just remember him in Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Now we get the first indication that all is not well at the Cadman house as Laura looks very pensive.

Meanwhile Tucker is a little less formal in his welcome to his wife. Donna is hilarious.

Nancy is about to let her collar off the hook.

If I was Joy I'd bash Tony right now! I remember my DH saying something similar to me when in labour and I told him very indignantly to shut up.

The barman was Josh the paramedic in Casualty.

Didn't take long for the Cadmans to have a row.

What a pompous ar&e Major Cadman is! I'd be threatening him with that carving knife I think!

The squaddies get hammered down the local pub.

Meanwhile back in the Officers' Mess - getting hammered Officer style. There's also a little something in your room for you Nick.

Consider yourself chastised Lt Pascoe.

Pascoe's getting a bit of dressing down.

Watch out you're about to get ambushed Nick - good grief her hair is ridiculous.

Of course, we later found out that Jerome/Garvey has a really good singing voice.

Looks like Nancy has another collar in her sight! How are you going to get him down from there?

Well ladies, how was that?

I honestly didn't think I'd have much to say and it was a bit flippant, but I enjoyed it!

I was thinking of something else, but the colonel was Athos’ wicked neighbour in Musketeers.

And that's that thanks to the adverts being omitted and reducing it to about 50 minutes. Plenty to talk about there. Made a change not to be really cynical.

I really like the way all the characters were introduced in that episode.

That was fun even though I got s bit out of sync. The hair is tremendous! The soundtrack is, well, I keep hearing similarities with Sharpe - must check if the composer was the same.
