Once when I got lost in woods it was nearly 4 and 1/2 hours before I found a landmark and borrowed a phone to ring Mr Schaden to come and get me. It was a long uphill walk to get home and I just couldn't do it.

(My own phone was, of course, conveniently on the kitchen bench)
