Why, when someone raises women's rights issues, are they branded a man hater? 😴

Men are not oppressed, in any way shape or form. But nice try. It's very telling that I'm one post you claim only weak women are oppressed yet in another, all men are oppressed 🤔

We are allowed to vote, to own property, to have a bank account, to sign many legal documents, and climb up the creasy promotional pole in enlightened companies.

So we do t have it as shit as we used to. Whoopee-doo.

1 in 4 Women (the natal kind) experience DV
1 in 5 are sexually assaulted
1 in 10 are raped

All the above at the hands of men (the natal kind). No identifying your way out of those stats, no matter how much you dislike necklaces and lipstick.

Similarly, 98% of sexual crimes are committed by men. Those poor oppressed souls.

Men actually now have a terrible dilemma at the moment; how to greet a women, how to interact with them, what greetings they should give them, how to treat them at work, at home, in the street, without being branded sexiest, condescending, arrogant, predatory, dominating, chauvinistic, male pigs!!

Aww do men now have to be careful to not sexually harass women - diddums. Don't pretend not sexually assaulting or harassing someone is harder than it looks. It speaks volumes that you'll play down women's struggles but think THIS is a "dilemma".

This is why trans women will never be women. You are an MRA and you do not have a fucking clue.

as a women love that attention

Because you've been raised and socialised as a man.

Your argument about sex vs. gender obviously highlights your misunderstanding of the differences which, thank God, so many medical and psychiatric specialists now accept exists

I think you know fine well I'm aware of the difference between sec and gender. I just don't believe gender is an actual thing, and certainly doesn't override sex. And I'd love to see a report from a credible medical source to say that gender is more valid than sex. I'll wait here

I know @Mrskeats what a relief. I'm off to buy some stilettos and eyeliner, but not before I declare how oppression doesn't affect me because I'm a strong confident laydee

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 17:02

Quite gunpowder
Those posts absolutely reek of mansplaining and the aggression is just so male too.

Italiangreyhound · 03/11/2018 17:24

Of course men know how to speak to women. They know how to be polite, not offensive or rude. I expect most men have either mothers or sisters or daughters and although some men may be abusive to them most are perfectly capable of speaking to women normally!

Janekent · 03/11/2018 17:25

No! Everything I have been trying to explain has been about Gender Dysphoria in Children, as per the subject of this thread, and my experience of it in relation to the story of "Maxine".

If you want to change it all into a women's lib protest (and I FULLY support more rights for us women!!!) then start a new thread for everyday women to contribute as they wish. But I won't as it is an endless argument to be raised out there in the society we live in not on this thread at least!

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 17:29

Is there some kind of exclamation mark festival on or something?
I’m not engaging sorry jane there is no ‘us’

NopeNi · 03/11/2018 17:39

I'm very triggered by someone suggesting they come from a "long line of women". How dare you assume their gender identities? Grin

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 17:48

Where else do humans come from if not from women?
Madness.

Janekent · 03/11/2018 17:50

"sorry jane there is no ‘us’"

And that is the problem! This peculiar belief by all too many at the moment that no transgender person, male or female, can enter the exclusive 'clubs' of those genders, no matter how cruel our lives have been, how much we have had to go through, to arrive as the true self.

I have had the misfortune of being able to have 360 degree vision of both the male and female species. I have been all too close up to how the average male functions; how he thinks when he believes no female is around him. It is not pretty that is for sure, and often made me sick to the core. Males have faults that's for sure, but so do females, and some of the unsympathetic comments on this thread on the subject of "Butterfly" just proves how parts of society cannot accept others who are suffering from any condition, let alone Gender Dysphoria, all due to the very ignorance that has caused wars led by men.

Believe me, the comments on this subject has confirmed yet again that some of the comments made by men, and indeed my own mother on other women, against women of being "petty minded"; "small minded"; "petty" and generally "self centred". By the comments made on this thread, which was about something else, you are just shooting yourselves in the foot, when WE (I repeat I am a full WOMAN!!) should be far more clever and savvy to eventually gain an equality with the male species, and maybe go one step further! You, at the moment, are playing right into men's minds and thoughts about women.

MenstruatorExtraordinaire · 03/11/2018 17:58

Mansplaining at its best.

NopeNi · 03/11/2018 18:04

A male cannot actually become female. No matter what they try.

I imagine why there's lots of rage and attempted mansplaining on the subject.

Can you imagine if a white person tried to tell a group of black people they'd always felt black inside and now definitely were?

Hyppolyta · 03/11/2018 18:04

Is there a female gender club, Jane?

I doubt anyone on this thread is a member so youre ranting at the wrong people.

We are females due to our sex, not gender

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 18:07

It’s not a problem. It’s a biological fact.
Humans cannot change sex. People can wear what they want, like what they want but it will never alter their sex.

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 18:09

*a full woman’ with the chromosomes of a woman then? With a uterus, the ability to bear children? What twaddle

NopeNi · 03/11/2018 18:09

It's funny, the idea that women should unite, become equal and then "go a step further" too. Men's idea of equality is so often treading else underfoot the way they do.

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 18:15

Exactly nope

Janekent · 03/11/2018 18:30

So women born without a uterus, or unable to have children is not a women then?

That IS twaddle and just displays the ignorance by all too many on this site.

My hormones are all oestrogen and progesterone, my gynecologist knows me as a women, my birth certificate states I am female, and in law I am female...................but after all that I recognise biggotary and stupidity.

The failure of women to recognise the difference of sex and sexuality, which means a person can be gay, lesbian, hetrosexual, or a mixture and something in between, and gender identity, when you can have any sexual orientation, leaves me very disappointed.

What will you mothers do if your child is gay or a trans person like "Maxine"? The possible answer to that worries me. Would you accept the risk of your child committing suicide rather than embracing diversity?

How very sad!

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 18:35

You have no idea whether any of us have gay children or not.
It has nothing to do with diversity. Humans can’t change sex. The problem is all this gender stereotyping which was so prevalent in that stupid show. No girl of 11 wears make up like that it’s a parody of the feminine.
Women and men are two biological entities. Gender is just ideas that change over time and place. It’s not that hard.
A man does not have the right to tell women they need to accept male bodies in their spaces.

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 18:36

It’s bigotry by the way. Except it’s not.

Janekent · 03/11/2018 18:42

So Gunpowder Gelatine (obviously a tag name for someone who wants to be controversial and seeks power says to me:

"This is why trans women will never be women. You are an MRA and you do not have a fucking clue."

That is not only very insulting, ignorant, stupid and once someone starts to swear, rather than discuss an issue. means they are not worth discussing anything with!

You ARE a man hater in everything you spit out with a vengeance. Nothing in life is fair, as I know all too well, so we are in a world of inequality that all your ranting will not solve. Attacking the weakest and most vulnerable in society will not do it either!

Janekent · 03/11/2018 18:47

Mrskeats that last but one post from you proves you have no idea what you are talking about and obviously just want to upset those who have a genuine Gender Identity issue.

As with Gunpowder Gelatine, you are not worth listening to.

Mrskeats · 03/11/2018 18:47

Here we go with the exclamations again.
Lots of WOMEN on here do not want male bodies in female spaces. And that’s our right. Your shouting at us only strengthens that view. Transing children is despicable behaviour and will be challenged through the courts in the future.
Chopping off healthy young people’s genitals is not ok. All the shouting and lecturing in the world will never convince me that it is. Hope that’s clear now.
