Checking in!
How many surface wipes?! That's obscene!

peachypetite · 29/08/2018 20:35

So many kids, how do they cope?

NapQueen · 29/08/2018 20:39

This programme is pissing me off. Who thought it a good idea to give a mum of two sets of twins under 2 reusable nappies?
And this holiday swap is a completely non comparable situation.

aleC4 · 29/08/2018 20:39

This couple will never change!
Why would they when her mum just buys them everything they want anyway!
That 10 year old is so spoilt!

Winterfellismyhome · 29/08/2018 20:41

The nappy swap was ridiculous and so is this holiday comparison

Dont know why a 10 year old needs designer fragrances and sunglasses

BikeRunSki · 29/08/2018 20:41

I doubt my 10 year boy old knows what Eau de Toiletteis!

NapQueen · 29/08/2018 20:42

Why arent they testing doubles? This family need a double pushchair.

PolkerrisBeach · 29/08/2018 20:42

They're shallow and materialistic with their stupid number of football shirts and a 10 year old with an iphone and designer perfume.

LightastheBreeze · 29/08/2018 20:42

Does the mum live with them as they said 8 people in the house.

PolkerrisBeach · 29/08/2018 20:42

And the granny is as thick and shallow as they are. "I don't care, it's just all about the name for me".

user1467966570 · 29/08/2018 20:42

Mackenzie has a £300 pair sunglasses. Madness!

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 29/08/2018 20:44

Whilst I agree wholeheartedly that buying designer doesn't always = better, surely you have to compare how long something lasts and stays looking good?!!!! Agggghhhhh

YearOfYouRemember · 29/08/2018 20:44

I don't get why people are cross about the nappies. I used washables and had three in them at one point. I started with Terry squares and plastic pants for dc1 then went on to motherease and wraps with dc2 before adding in tots bots for number three.

peachypetite · 29/08/2018 20:45

Not nice to see such a materialistic 10 year old.

Justmuddlingalong · 29/08/2018 20:46

Shock at the white sofa, never mind anything else!

LightastheBreeze · 29/08/2018 20:47

The 10 year old is very spoilt by his grandmother, it probably started when the first twins were born

YerAuntFanny · 29/08/2018 20:47

Agree re nappies, we used cloth for DC#2 and was quite evangelical about it but I wouldn't even give it a thought for 4 kids Shock

Really hoping they don't decide to switch out car seats, definitely one area I think it's better to pay more if you can.

I'm watching with my 12yo and he's horrified at the attitude of that little boy, DS is quite happy with his "budget store" 49p deodorant!

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 29/08/2018 20:47

Not warming to this family yet!
Slightly behind you lot as paused to put SD to bed so just watching hols swop now.
I'm pretty sure that an extra 2 hours travelling time will feel like a fortnight with 5 kids?

AutumnGlitterBall · 29/08/2018 20:47

Some of the swaps are a con though. Saying they’d save money if they swapped their bottles, steriliser, high chair etc. How are they going to swap if they’ve already bought them?? It’s good for pointing out ideas for people who haven’t yet bought these items but it won’t save this couple any money at this time!

NapQueen · 29/08/2018 20:48

I like that they are still offering alternate Erf seats.

user1471426142 · 29/08/2018 20:48

This is pissing me off. The first bit of ‘oh look at all those bottles’. Well yes she has 4 kids under 2. Surely they need to be looking at ongoing monthly spending including food rather than stuff that has already been spent. I particularly enjoyed Alex’s suggestion of an au pair because it was cheaper. Yes having an unqualified teenager would be a great option for 5 kids with 4 under 2 in a house of 7. All the advice seemed pretty crap. Also I bet Alex doesn’t do budget things with her baby so the whole thing seemed totally hypocritical and ridiculous.

LightastheBreeze · 29/08/2018 20:50

DS had Lynx Africa, all his friends did also, he wasn’t 10 though, probably about 13

aleC4 · 29/08/2018 20:50

£10,000 worth of toys!!!!!
4 of them are babies!

PolkerrisBeach · 29/08/2018 20:50

Time for my cheese joke....

How do you eat cheese in Wales?

Caerphily.
