Did anyone watch this back in the spring?

I did. I loved it albeit the ending a bit incomplete- left open for series 2.

Why is it on again so soon? I see it's on BBC Wales again tonight. It doesn't say it's a repeat but surely it can't be series 2 already?

I watched this on BBC1 just s few months ago. I waited week yo week got the next instalment. The series was 8 weeks long.
Anyone know why they are repeating this so soon?

I agree Bug. I watched it the first time round on iPlayer and all the hair tossing and lying on the floor or table or wherever drove me mad!

Watched the first episode and spent more time spotting Hinterland actors than noticing the soundtrack. They were all in it!

It confused me seeing it on BBC1 as a new series last week. Was it just on iplayer when it was on in the Spring? I'm not in Wales so definitely not just shown there.

The whole series was on iPlayer in the spring from the welsh airing I think, I thought it was great, gets more tangled as time goes on

I like the haunting music, but agree that the heels are just a no no for walking around tow paths and on boats she does tend to be a bit OTT with the acting - we do get it, she is worried and annoyed and upset etc etc, no need to over egg the pud on that one.

The baby is so cute though in his little mac! i think that the Bil is a bit suspicious and maybe her friend too? the old school chum seems a bit odd too - why didnt she know about her before in such a close knit society? everyone else seems to know everyone's business and she didnt live miles away.
i will stick with it, but dh has given up on it as too slow and boring already.

driving Licence belonging to the Alec guy: confirmed Alec was a childhood friend of Evan's who died aged 10 from drowning- they used to go out sailing together
Faith thought Evan had been having an affair as had been lying about going to the gym and she found a birthday card from a woman
The woman who sent the card confirmed they were old friends, she was friends with Alec and Evan and told Faith about who Alec was
Discovered the firm is in the red and about to go under
Life insurance policy found- subsequently leading to Faith being taken away to be questioned
Main detective on the case seems to have it in for Faith

Its got really good this week I think, last week was a bit slow but better now and I've warmed to Faith. Didnt know there was a series 1...

I think i will watch it all, if only to find out the dark secrets of Mr Fenton and why he took off etc.
the dad seems to be in the frame ( been hinted at) maybe it was a repressed childhood?

She just drives about all the time doing a face. Then annoying music happens.
'Squeezing' into the perfectly fine clothes & the baby being dumped here & there without a care suggests to me that this was certainly not written by a woman with a child. I lasted 2 episodes.

Only fools this is season 1. But it was shown on BBC Wales first and on iplayer then is my understanding.

What bugs me about British dramas (and why I tend to prefer American ones) is its slow first few eps, then last few eps they're rushing to tie up all the loose ends! Annoying. They're also not long enough to properly get into.

The old school friend also said something about his parents being smothering and he shouldn't have come home after college. His father seems to feel guilty (could be wrong there) and his mother articulated guilt, apologising to him in his absence.

I laughed at heel just why would you, why? Who can drive in 4 inch heels? Whilst wearing a rain mac and walkig over grass and a boat AND carrying a baby!! Obviously bloke wrote that.

Thought gym would been cover up for counselling the GP told her about? Guess he couldn’t go in day time with work?

Totally confused over wig and driving Lic. Surely would have taken them if planning new life? Not sure jus having life insurence would be a motive in house with mortgage and family to support and business pay for 1 million would pay off debts so she wouldn’t Haveto work. House could be worth 250k easy. Though don’t get how it’s huge downstairs and modern yet all 3kids in one tiny bedroom. Where is rest of upstairs??
