I mean he's such a stable character I can't think why she would even entertain that idea

Rosie and the awful acting drug dealer..it was like watching a GCSE drama production. Why was Craig laying in wait? How did he know what was going on?

Gail and the medium...no words. Years ago I think Amy pretended to be a medium and it turned out she was reading Ivy's old diaries. Is there a similar reason behind this medium knowing about Haley and Alma?

Michelle and the chuckle brothers - new Ryan is as bad an actor as the last one. And as PP mentioned, if his real mum raised Ali doesn't she want to meet her bio son Ryan? Or was Ali brought up by someone entirely different?

I think Lewis (Nigel Havers) knows the Platt/Roy details and has fed the info to Rosemary. New Ryan makes Ali look like Larry Olivier.

Ryan and Ali are terrible. They are even worse than the wooden Jude. (Where is he, by the way?)

Good God, I just watched last night's episodes, what utter shit. It was like watching a pantomime with Rosie and the American drug bloke, and Craig pouncing on him. Not sure if it was an attempt at humour or what.
I thought that the storyline with Aiden, and David's current story were being done well, so to jump from such well acted, believable scenes to lasts night's crap baffles me.

I do enjoy it and look foward to it of a night but I do see some silly things that don't add up...and storyline do get dropped. I don't think I will ever stop watching corrie. Unlike emmerdale which I havnt seen in about 6 weeks. I don't know why I have fell out if love with emmerdale but I have!

Why did the baby not go in to visit Nicola?
The general advice is not to take a newborn into general wards because of the risk of hospital-borne infection to their tiny immune systems. At least that's what I was told when I had to be admitted to hospital when DD2 was just a few weeks old. I missed her but made the most of the opportunity to catch up on lost sleep!

You could put lots of the characters from emmerdale into corrie and I would still love corrie more !

Same here with Eastenders! Took it off series record and didn't notice it was gone. Haven't missed it at all.

I watch Corrie still because there are some characters/storylines that are decent and interesting. I've been watching Classic Corrie since it started and really adore it. It was much better in the old day before every single thing had to be over the top and sensational.

I prefer Classic Corrie. I decided months ago to drop the current Corrie when Phelan died but I'm now quite interested in the Lewis and Rosemary story (great actors) so I'm carrying on. I fast forwarded through the nonsense with the drugs and with Ryan/Ali (I never watch it "live", for that reason). So, I still enjoy ten minutes or so every episode.

How horrible of Gary to say Nicola is like her father, if he meant that then his child could be equally like his grandfather, do the script writers actually read what they write, and he still somehow manages to take no responsibility for his part in Phelan coming back!!!.

At least amongst the turbo charged storylines they've retained some humour and social commentary. Noted; usually under recognised writers..
