I thought it was Hillman back from the dead!
That's what these writers have done to me... Anything, no matter how impluasable can happen.
I think I might give up!

So unbelievable that Anna would announce she's moving away, from her beloved daughter, son and new grandson. The was she casually slipped in afterwards that there was a spare room for Faye, surely she'd be her main focus. I mean, I know the actress is leaving so they can't make her stay, but they could have given her a more plausible exit story.

You’d think under the circumstances she might wonder if her son needed a spot of help with his newborn child.

I wonder why they didn't just have Phelan shoot her? They could have killed each other.

That was a really dreadful conclusion to the Phelan storyline. Just dreadful.

Very disappointed in this, Phelan and Anna should have struggled and shot each other dead!

Ridiculous Phelan storyline. Why did they need to take it so far? It was all just too much for me tonight.

I watch Corrie for a bit of downtime, I don't like blood and actually nearly fainted when Anna stabbed Phelan.

Call me boring but it's just too far fetched with everything else that's going on.

I did like the scene between Anna and Eileen though. Good writing for that one.

The rest. Meh.

Was anyone else expecting phelan to open his eyes? Or disappear from the kitchen before they could fetch the body bag?? He's been clunked on the head and nearly killed so many times that I had trouble believing he was actually dead this time!

Yes! I thought his eyes would open as he was being zipped into the body bag!

I thought they'd show the kitchen and he'd be gone.

But hey NO MORE PHELAN

Even better... no more FAYE!!

Oh and the whole episode was a pile of poo.

I hate when they kill off baddies. It’s such a lazy cop out. Send them to prison so we can have real justice.

Did they really say that Nicola's billet wounds had missed vital organs?

Um....I pretty sure it shot through her lung. That's why she couldn't breathe and was nearly dead

Phelan needed to face proper justice, not vengeance. Far better that the police discovered the bodies, arrested him, put him on trial and put him away. About a year ago.

No, I think someone said on the phone that she'd had surgery and was 'alright'

WTF was Michelle a hostage? Do the writers understand what a hostage is?! It's supposed to be a bargaining tool. What did he want, a medium rare ribeye and some chips?

I didn’t really understand phelans plan. Was he going to hold Michelle hostage in the kitchen while everyone else got out?

So both Michelle and Nicola were shot but are ok?

Debbie dingle was shot in emmerdale last week and was right as rain a couple of hours later.

I think his plan was to take a "hostage" so that the ambulance could come for Nicola, and he was presumably going to try and escape through the back of the bistro without anyone following him or trying to stop him, thereby evading arrest. He wasn't banking on Anna turning up, of course.

It was OK...the only parts I found cheesy was Anna being all revengeful walking around like she was 'Well Ard and anury and had ad enough'. At the end when her and Eileen were stood at the tape watching him being taken off was cringe time.
