Munich/Istanbul in play this week amongst other tournaments.

Madrid week beginning the 7th (hopefully with Delpo playing)

Djok skipping grass would be a surprise. But he's not scheduled to defend his Eastbourne title from what I can see.
in a way I want him to be at Wimbledon. I think Roger potentially meeting him in the quarter final could be interesting, for both of them

Did anyone see the little interview Kasaktina had with Inverdale? She was so Assured & really put him in his place!

He was saying that her home town is miles from anywhere & she told him that it has the biggest car factory in Europe, 3 amazing tennis facilities, 3 pools etc etc.

Then said: "It may be remote but it isn't a village".

AFAIK Djok is deffo not coming to Eastbourne.

Raahh - hope you get better soon. I've had (& passed) a kidney stone. Not nice, but the pain is over quickly & not as bad as childbirth!

;magi I saw the interview with Kasaktina- she was great. She definitively put John in his place .I really wish she had been able to win today.

Good to know about the stone- the pain last night was absolutely horrendous. it was as bad as being in labour. I'm drinking plenty of water and hoping the pesky makes an appearance soon so I can watch Rafa and Delpo from the comfort of my own home!

So pleased Djok has gone. In other news, DH has just informed me Murray has pulled out of his comeback event in Holland on Monday, which puts him playing Wimbledon in doubt. That's about the limit of DH's tennis knowledge

I had a kidney stone too. My advice - lots of water and jump up and down every day. I passed it without being sure I had. There's a whole other story related to that which I don't bite you with.

Delighted to see Cecchinato win and with such panache.
Also pleased for Thiem. I think he is the most likely of any of them to topple Rafa - though most likely really only equates to about a 1% chance.

The Madison Keys / Putintseva match was good to watch unlike Daria / Sloane. I really cant like either Sloane or her game style so was disappointed that Daria couldn't make more of an impression.

My dd had a seizure a few hours ago so am up watching game set and mats. Thought sascha was very gracious in his interview, such a shame he couldn't play yesterday.

I actually managed a few hours sleep, which is more than I get at home so that's good.and the pain has gone. I think the stone has vanished by itself.
