Yes, it was more surprising that Gregory actually did it rather than outing him to Negan to be in favour

But Dwight never heard the true plan, just the one Negan told him which was fake.

I get that but he didn’t know that. I don’t think Gregory was in that meeting so he couldn’t blame him for all of it.

Watching Eugene eat is more disgusting than any zombie. Why does he have to hold the bowl right under his chin and shovel spoonfuls in?

I like Dwight. How did negan know?
Gregory just wants to be back wherever life is easiest sipping his whiskey and polishing his wood panelling.

But Eugene and the munching. He deserves to die for that alone

Stealth, Laura told Negan. She was the one he picked up in the car and the lady in Dwight’s room when Negan confronted Dwight.

When Dwight and some saviours (including Laura) got ambushed by Rick’s lot (Daryl, Rosita, Tara etc) a few eps ago and Daryl turned on his own and killed them but Laura got away.

No worries! I watched the talking dead the other week after the attack on Hilltop and they were making such a big deal about “Tobin” dying. I never knew his name! He was just that bloke that Carol was with and baked for one time. I didn’t recognise other than then and had to do the maths myself in his significance when he got injured and she ran to him. They were saying how much of a shame it was he was leaving and he had a great character arc... what? From eating cookies to getting shot in the belly? No idea what the fuss was about.

I didn't see talking dead but I quite liked the way they kept that tobin guy in the background (I didn't actually know his name though!) - he was sort of like an all American dad from a sitcom - kind of reliable and normal seeming, and it was good to have a familiar face not from the main cast who hadn't been bumped off.

Stealth Eugene was disgusting bleurgh I could hardly watch them stirring that gross sounding concoction.

I liked Tobin. He was in it quite a bit in the begining of Alexandria.

Good episode dirty double crossing Dwight..er Negan old bean bit of pot and kettle there.😀
I want Dwight to ride off into the sunset to find Sherry. He has been between a rock and a hard place forever.

Loved the whole set up of forgiving and double crossing.

Rick et all may distrust Dwight but Tara not being infected might swing it..they are going to walk into negans trap i fear. Its going to be another damm cliff hanger 😠

Eugene is definately negan now. I agree with what Middle said. It was very well done. But i think Daryl would have noticed his ashy footprints didnt leave the burned area. Suppose they were in a hurry to find him.
Can't believe its the finale already. Dont want it to end again i hate waiting between seasons/breaks.c

No idea how he hid that quickly.

Has to be a cliff hanger or we won’t come back for series 9! Although we know Rick will end up under a tree. I hope that’s next week rather than next series. DH and I were saying we hope the cliffhanger is not war related. Maybe the helicopter or the new group or just something different.

The only thing that has me still watching is the mystery with the helicopter now, is there some civilisation left after all

I think we will definitely see Jadis again. People not show up anymore. The closet is Heath and you saw him in a pickle. It might be a while if she did get on a chopper or it might be sooner if she didn’t.

I do t know why she didn’t paint the helicopter a message with all the paint she has lying around.

I fast forward most of it as well, I need to see it through though.

Rick left her and the recently departed Simon killed her crew, though he's a walker now. She let Negan go so will she side with anyone?

Then we have Oceanside and the weird woman who gave Maggie her book of life.

What was Jadis up to anyway, did she want to give the trussed up Negan to the helicopter people? Surely they'd have rescued him and killed the crazy woman!
I hope Dwight's girlfriend reappears (not dead though). I think the Oceanside people might be on board now too.

I agree that the the Oceansiders will come on board though they have no weapons.

I think that this series has been about trying to make it less clear cut as to who are the baddies and goodies.

I did like Zombie Simon, I knew that Negan would kill him after what he did to Jadis’ people, but I wasn’t expecting that

I think Dwight missed a trick. He should have laughed in Laura's face and told Negan that it was actually her who turned on the team etc. But he didn't say anything because she was dead so it didn't make any difference. Point out that he came back after escaping with Sherry, he put up with the iron, he's killed people for Negan, he's turned Simon in - he's totally team Negan. He might not be totally believed but I think it would have made Negan doubt Laura's story and not know what to believe.

I think that’s a huge reason why Dwight is not a leader and joining forces with Rick. He’s not god at hiding his emotions and he’s not quick enough to lie like that. If he was more of a peacock character like Simon, he could have done it.

Also he should have said about Laura when he got back and they found him in the woods. Negan would have expected him to say it before x
