DP keeps telling me that next week won't be the end and Neagan will still be around in series 9.

Hopefully Rick will see through the trap - I am just worried about the oceansiders going on team rick and getting shot down. I still think Eugene could pull through on the bullets?

I enjoyed tonight's episode. At least we could see what was happening this week!
Carl's letters were sad. Negan isn't gonna step down and live side by side with Rick though, and I can't see Maggie doing that either!
I liked Simon. Not in a like him as a nice person kind of way, but I thought he was great for the show. Was good to see Negan fight without the bat though.
Eugene? Has he totally turned into a saviour now, or is he gonna come through for Rosetta and Rick? I can't work him out.
The season finale next week so should be good. I am expecting negan to be around next season too.

Walker simon was quite funny, usually it's sad when they turn so that makes a change.

I don't think Eugene will come through for them. I'd love him to but he looked so angry with them.

I liked yesterday's episode - it was dark.

The descent of Eugene....he was even physically dark when he returned after his hiding escapade. I don't think there's any return for him now. He's getting darker and more dangerous.

I don't know what Gabriel's higher purpose is - but there'd better be one.

I feel sorry for Dwight. I never thought I'd say that back in the Denise era. I still think he'll get his revenge as they've kept him alive.

Negan took a risk taking on Simon in a one to one though. I'll miss Simon and his moustache.

Next week's trailer looks good.

Dwight wouldn't have been so stupid to write the details of the plan down on the map so openly would he? So although he is cornered , somewhere the true message is on the map ... I hope !

I just thought would they notice the map was missing anyway or do they all just have a stack of local maps lying around for when they need them. Loot run: Food, meds, ammo, maps.

But Dwight never heard the true plan, just the one Negan told him which was fake.

Good episode - shame about Simon, he was a pyscho but good fun to watch - his showboating amused me, unlike Negan who just irritates me! Would Negan really have fought Simon like that though?! Bit daft and risky, he would have just Lucille-d him! Once again writers changing the characters to suit what scenes they want to do.

Aaron - wtf is he still doing hanging around Oceanside?! Pointless.

I wonder if Eugene has turned back to Rick's group - the way he repeated Rosita's words at the end made me think maybe - otherwise our gang will just be annihilated as they don't know the true plan and obviously that can't happen.

I think the map was just for tv purposes to show that he was exactly copying the plan Negan had given. Also in reality would he have got Gregory to be the messenger? The slightly helpful part of that though is the Hilltop don't trust Gregory and might see through it as a potential trap.

Yumyum - yes I thought Gregory was the worst choice of messenger.

Surely Aaron will convince Oceanside somehow to join him for next week's epic battle?
