OP posts:
eloisesparkle · 17/03/2018 09:55

I just hope it doesn't have a cr*p ending like so many series have had recently.

eloisesparkle · 17/03/2018 13:52

Our Irish Times have given a spoiler in its tv pages for the week. Sad
I won't spoil it for you all, though I'm bursting to tell.Smile

Clawdy · 17/03/2018 14:41

If Sally's murder is nothing to do with the far right group then the whole story there was a red herring. Bit odd.

InspiredByIntegrity · 17/03/2018 16:51

twitter.com/djhenshall/status/974786568287342593 is toying with us.

Yorkshirebetty · 17/03/2018 18:00

In the first episode there was reference to some malpractice on an oil rig - remember the widow? Has that storyline disappeared or will it all tie up in the end? As long as nothing happens to Tosh!!

StickStickStickStick · 17/03/2018 18:02

Sally was investigating the health and safety on the oil rig (man died after his arm got caught in a machine). Alan Hansan?

Yorkshirebetty · 17/03/2018 18:08

So was the oil rig just a way in to the Far Right story? To take them to Norway?

StickStickStickStick · 17/03/2018 19:14

Andreas Hagen even! And now I can't remember the link.... was it dead person on oil rigs father was far right? Help?

StickStickStickStick · 17/03/2018 19:20

And we know she met with Mathias Soderland - so they then chased him but he turned out to be an informed for the far right and was killed and called a traitor. But I can't remember how we got to him. brain hurts.

Simulcrum · 18/03/2018 04:34

I did my own analysis of the suspects, and ended up with everyone in the frame , apart from the police. So disturbed by the Norwegian police. Love Perez and Tosh.

Gruach · 19/03/2018 10:42

My tuppence’worth - am wondering if the wrong twin was murdered by mistake. Don’t have a reason why, yet. (Think Clawdy above implied the same?) There are so many throw away comments about how identical they were in looks but not personality. And how someone, forget who, once mistook one for t’other.

Agree it does look as if Duncan might be Allan’s bio-dad. But maybe a red herring.

What does Duncan actually do? Apart from turning up everywhere flogging his hapless, bashful schoolboy charm act?

This is only the second series I’ve watched and I’m more and more conscious of the stunning interior decor of all the not-actually-destitute characters’ houses. Is everyone in Shetland fantastically well paid?

Notonthestairs · 19/03/2018 10:58

Wasnt it Alan's Dad that kept mistaking Molly's mum (why cant I remember her name??) for Lizzie and being cross about it?

SpringHen · 19/03/2018 14:47

Businessey investey things. I believe he has dabbled in money lending in the past

StickStickStickStick · 20/03/2018 20:54

10 minutes!!! I want to get the various norwegian people right in my head as im sure we'll come back to that but Google isn't helping me!!

And paternity

And something about the twin...

Shenanagins · 20/03/2018 22:00

Well well well, what a cheery ending!

APMom · 20/03/2018 22:01

Wow, I thought it might have been Donna but Drew killing his own daughter was a surprise. Poor Thomas, I felt he was just misunderstood his whole life.

APMom · 20/03/2018 22:02

My eyes were full of tears there for Thomas.

fourquenelles · 20/03/2018 22:03

Poor Thomas couldn't catch a break Sad

flapjackfairy · 20/03/2018 22:06

What a great actor he was though. V fine performance. They could have allowed him to ride off into the sunset with kate for goodness sake.

flapjackfairy · 20/03/2018 22:09

Should say what a great actor he IS !
Obviously he is so good i w2qqas convinced he had died in real life ! Grin

flapjackfairy · 20/03/2018 22:11

Argh phone having a dicky fit ! w2qqas =was !
Time for bed methinks !

Clawdy · 20/03/2018 22:12

Drew killing his own daughter seemed totally unbelievable, but the Donna confession made sense. Poor old Thomas though. Would have liked to see him happy with Kate, but that immensely annoying daughter would have soon spoilt that! Hope she felt really guilty!

longtompot · 20/03/2018 22:16

I cried when Tosh said what she did to Thomas. I really thought he could finally live Sad
I loved how Perez was with Duncan, and the sadness in his eyes when he thought there might be the slightest chance he was involved.
I am happy with the ending, despite all the twists and turns. I think it tied it all in nicely.

AmIthatbloodycold · 20/03/2018 22:23

Poor, poor Thomas. Sad

StickStickStickStick · 20/03/2018 22:26

I was waiting all the way through to see Thomas die and so hoped they'd chosen not to kill him. Just whether he's comit suicide/knew what happened/be killed.

I liked the episode all except the ending. I really hoped they wouldn't kill him off.
