This looks good - A new 4 part murder mystery thriller with an interesting cast, Nicola Walker, Carrey Mulligan, Billie Piper and Jon Simm. Is anybody planning to watch?

Is there any signifacance in the owner being in Boca Raton?

sothatdidntwork · 14/02/2018 17:49

Carey Mulligan thought so - raised eyebrows at a south london pizza parlour being owned by people living there.

GhostsToMonsoon · 14/02/2018 19:32

I enjoyed this though it seemed a bit contrived with the MP knowing both the only witness to the murder and the pizza orderer.

I seem to remember reading that virtually all Syrians who make it to the UK are granted asylum, so would they be likely to be hiding in a garage?

Still wondering if it's a case of mistaken identity or someone high up wanted Abdullah dead.

Still wondering if it's a case of mistaken identity or someone high up wanted Abdullah dead. me too although it does seem odd that MI5 haven’t turned up. Makes me think it was planned.

How did Abdullah pay for a British Driving Licence too? It took them on,y a month to get here. Didn’t the DC call it Club Class?

EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic · 15/02/2018 20:58

Anyone?

Collateral critics seem to be divided by their politics have you noticed! Two stars in the times, and like ALL the stars in this left leaning London mag www.culturewhisper.com/r/netflix/collateral_carey_mulligan_bbc_thriller/10960 so interesting! x

AllButterShortbread · 16/02/2018 17:22

I loved it from the word go for the fact it was so full of women actors. Women in charge. Women in a majority of lead roles. And a dead man! So unusual in a crime drama. Most would have had a bare breasted corpse within the first 10mins.

AllButterShortbread · 16/02/2018 17:22

Obviously I enjoyed the actual plot too Blush

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff · 19/02/2018 10:52

I'm in too!

MichaelBendfaster · 19/02/2018 11:18

I don't think I'll watch it live, but will watch it, so marking place. I agree with what pps have said about the acting and I think Billie P is a druggie (and she really did grow up in Beirut).

Nicola Walker is excellent.

FawnDrench · 19/02/2018 16:10

Billie Piper is just a bit too Patsy from AbFab in my opinion.
I keep expecting her to say something like "liquid diet dahling, liquid diet"

She even looks a bit like a young Joanna Lumley...

Well I am now more confused than I was last week.
And I agree with those saying great cast but strange acting.
The director must be making a point ?
I have a horrible feeling this isn’t going to come together and it will be yet more hours of my life wasted on recent promising dramas.
