cant wait

i enjoyed s1, tho was full of twists and if i rem correctly it was a confusing end

we weren't sure if she killed /tried to kill henry with a bag over his head

but we had proof it was him due to the bite mark on his shoulder

or something like that

the first series is on demand sowill re watch the last episode to refresh memory

I love this series, it's a shame that there's not more discussion on it. It's very dark but absolutely compelling.

I thought Rav was superb last night, during his responses to the house of horrors. His reactions felt very real.

Has anybody else noticed that Gail (Eric's sister) has a tattoo on her finger that looks like a kind of symbol. Possibly similar to what is on the wooden discs. I might be reading too much into this as there have only been very subtle shots of the tattoo.

Also, the opening scene of episode 1, was Marcella looking like she is going to jump off a building - then the series rewinds to 12 days earlier. I wonder what drives her to get into this state - if it's a fugue or something that she uncovers.

Haven't got a clue how it will all tie up, but I'm really looking forward to the ending.

The neighbour to house where the murders took place -was the man in the garden with a body

I like Marcella a lot more too. I get her more. I've always fancied Jamie Bamber but there's something untrustworthy about him. I hope he doesn't end hurting her too.

I have a theory, I think the posh blonde woman, who runs a helpline, is filtering off the more vulnerable kids. I don't think her husband, who is slimy, is in cohoots with her, but I do think the chief copper is involved.

I think Jason killed his lover in the first series, but Marcella found out/followed him, and where she is moving the dirt off her face, she blacked out. Son is a complete nutter, and killed Juliet.

What would be her motive for doing that though? Money? And why is the killing ritualistic? The disabled guy knows a lot more to come I think.

Motive? Haven't a clue, I don't think she's killing them, I think chief cop is, he's def dodgy anyway and the way he spoke to the other detective to "man up", very emotionally detached.

I don't think Jason killed Grace in the last series, as Henry admitted it was him, and that he only killed the others so Grace's murder appeared to be part of a serial killing spree. As for who is guilty this time; I am clueless. Everybody looks suspicious.

ooh just caught up, think I'm on the right track, although not sure what Jason's girlfriend was doing with carer. Chief police detective buried body in lift shaft, Vince not involved, his wife definitely is.

This is so so complicated and it's ridiculous that EVERYONE is connected.

As if it's not enough that Marcellas son happened to be the mate of one of the victims, his friends mum was the bestie of another victim and now we are meant to see that the stepmum is also connected?

Not to mention that the place where stepmums brother? is cared for, happens to be run by the sister of the aforementioned victim.

Of course, with London being so tiny and all...

Now I'm wondering if having written all of that, the connection IS Marcella. But it can't really be as the care-home victim has been there far longer than her involvement with the case.
