Possibly because seeing them just larking pointlessly in the kebab shop is so much better than any of th so-called main storylines.

Just get rid of Phelan, Anna, Seb, Nicola, Billy etc.

Get Rita, Emily and Audrey back to their eighties selves, and jettison everyone who cannot fit the same vibe. Get Liz and Steve back in the Rovers.

Have Carla run over before the dreadful (repeat kidney) storyline goes any further. Let Tracey have an occasional health scare related to her transplant.

Bring back Jason (and his vests)

Kirk and Beth should have a surprise baby. No dramatic storylines. I'd just like to see Mr Gormless do ordinary parenting.

I have read that a mechanic ( presumably Luke's replacement) befriends David and assaults him after a night out.

Eva is pregnant but there's 2 potential Dads. Either the Scottish werewolf, Adam or it could be Aiden's. Dunno how, Eva really would be heavily pregnant if it was Aiden's baby. Unless they had break up sex. Which would be odd as her pretending to be pregnant was the crux of her fraud against him that's now been all to conveniently forgotten.

When is Kev getting a storyline ? Has he visited Anna in prison yet ? When was the last time anyone saw his son, Jack ? (Still no reference to the son he had and named Jack who died. Or the wife he was married to who died when she threw herself under a moving vehicle.)
