We didn’t see Phelan actually bury andy. He was shot and then in the river. We did see him digging but we don’t know what or who he buried.

I didn't realise Carla had given the money to Steve. I thought it was weird to volunteer that money after Michelle had forced him to sell his mum's beloved pub for the divorce and that he has two DC to support.

The Toyah surrogate storyline is weird - barely mentioned and never seen. Toyah and Peter have been together two minutes and his history!! the surrogate must be mad. Also I thought Leanne had given Toyah the money for it but then Leanne had it in her account to use as a house deposit before it was scammed off her by the B&B guest. How would Leanne have got a mortgage - is she still on maternity leave from the bistro??

I also read that Michelle's biological son (not the one she brought up/ had switched at birth who is also forgotten about these days) is due to make a re appearance.

Emily returns and realized she has feelings for Zedan. Turns out Mary is mad and does a Crippen with her annoying family. Ken develops feelings for Beth. Sophie gets a job in Central Manchester and is never heard from again. All the houses on the street turn out to have 3rd floors to house all the extra roommates.

Really disappointed they are taking Bethany down the lapdancer "as empowerment" route. Did we ever learn what Nathan and Neil etc were actually sentenced to?

Aidan and Eva are both leaving later in the year so I think we can see where the baby story is heading. Hope they don't have some crap side story about Eva considering giving the baby to Toyah (as their surrogate is not in evidence anymore - may change her mind/is lying /Peter and Toyah can't pay etc).

Toyah's surrogate loses baby, so I presume that Eva will end up being Toyah's surrogate.

Since Eva and Aidan are both leaving I suppose there will be a storyline where Eva gives the baby to Toyah but will change her mind, steal the baby back and run off with Aidan (unless the producers don't want to leave the door open for them to come back and they die and Toyah gets the baby) - yawn!
