Anyone else looking forward to this? The writer also wrote the recent Robbie Coltrane drama, National Treasure, and Sarah Lancashire is always superb.

Raging, I love their whole house!

MissEliza · 27/01/2018 19:11

Arsenic you may be on to something!

MissEliza · 27/01/2018 19:33

Thanks Majestic for the link.
One thing that has been bothering me is why the FM followed Kiri to the gps' house and then left. What was the point of that? Was she worried about SL's driving?! Surely if she was worried about the unsupervised visit she would have waited outside the house. Also how could she really not have suspected that the man who arrived was the biological father? It doesn't add up.

scrabbler3 · 27/01/2018 23:26

National Treasure was superb.

I love the cast in Kiri. First rate.

I don't think the creepy teenage boy killed her. It's too obvious. The foster dad had a genuine alibi, his business partner.

Miriam's mum will surely feature in the final ep. They wouldn't have hired someone with the stature of Sue J for one scene, surely?

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 28/01/2018 00:06

Eliza I’m with you, I don’t think it adds up that she wouldn’t have known that was kiri’s Dad and that she just would have driven off after following them to the house.

Hopeandgloryeverafter · 28/01/2018 01:54

Can't sleep so just RTFT. Don't think anyone else has mentioned it but I keep thinking about Si asking his Mum about whether Kiri would have screamed or made a noise when she died. Either it's troubling him that he doesn't know what happened to her, or that he knows something we don't!

TheShapeofYou · 31/01/2018 07:48

Last one tonight and I'm so excited!

Italiangreyhound · 31/01/2018 08:04

Yes, it was horrible. Insensitive.

Springiscoming123 · 31/01/2018 16:18

last one tonight, turn of your phones, tell everybody at home no disruptions and enjoySmileSmile

ginteresting · 31/01/2018 21:02

I do hope it's not a random. I like the build up of character in a whodunnit.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 31/01/2018 21:07

Urgh, foster dad is creepy!

colouringinagain · 31/01/2018 21:11

Just switched on, have I missed anything?

sandrapanda · 31/01/2018 21:15

Didn't foster dad say last week he'll get his alibi to lie for him if it meant protecting his son? Maybe his alibi has already lied for him and fd is involved some how...

Trailedanderror · 31/01/2018 21:15

How old is the son? Is he younger as he seems- that would explain the inappropriate comments and also going away to Boarding School.
Scenes with him and kiri were very sweet Sad
They're toying with us re timelines- I thought her looking at the planets was when she'd come home.
Love the music!
Aha, Sarah.

purpleme12 · 31/01/2018 21:26

Does the police actually believe the foster woman about the car? Surely not

Smokeahontas · 31/01/2018 21:30

There’s quite a lot to wrap up in half an hour.

Mrsfloss · 31/01/2018 21:30

What would nose bleeds mean?

furcoatnaeknickers · 31/01/2018 21:31

The policewoman certainly seems conflicted by it.
2nd reference to nose bleeds at start of episode so surely must be relevant?

furcoatnaeknickers · 31/01/2018 21:32

? Underlying bleeding problem??

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 31/01/2018 21:32

I don’t understand why they were so quick to charge the Dad. The foster mum’s statement can’t be taken at face value, she is surely a suspect considering that the child was in her house when she was home!!

purpleme12 · 31/01/2018 21:34

I found that bit where the dad hit his head over and over disturbing

MajesticWhine · 31/01/2018 21:36

Agree Donny. Too flimsy.

Lanaorana2 · 31/01/2018 21:38

Has anyone thought Kiri strangled herself on the scarf?

spicerack79 · 31/01/2018 21:42

i think it was the foster dad
