Is anyone else watching classic Corrie on itv 3. I’m actually quite enjoying it

Does anyone remember a character who comes into it fairly soon I think. He's a bit of a jack the lad from what I remember and I think he starts going out with Tina. The name Eddie rings a bell

I think you might be thinking of Mark Carney who is Kevin's apprentice at the moment (and his dad owns the garage so he doesn't behave well)

No, there was definitely an Eddie in 1989 and he was in it for a while.

I thought I’d misremembered Wendy working at the paper too. I do remember first time around finding her and Ken smooching over the word processor to be pretty revolting, I can’t say I’m looking forward to seeing that again.

Wonder when they build the new houses. Anyone remember Des Barnes and his wife? He lives next door to the Wilton's and he and Derek are constantly arguing about something or other.

They had quite a fiery relationship and she was a bit of a a strumpet as I recall

I've just done some research on the new houses (it's too warm to do any housework at the moment!) - the factory & community centre were knocked down in Sept 1989, so not long now.

I think the aforementioned Eddie is one of the builders of the new houses.

I've been recording these in a morning, does anyone know whether it was only on once today? Theres only one recorded on my planner.

Mine only recorded one as well but at the end of the recording was the start of another episode

I was worried that the Jack almost has an affair with Tina storyline was going to be played for laughs. It did seem to be going that way at first, but showing Vera just devastated by the thought Jack was cheating rescued it from being really crass.

It's a bit creepy a guy of Jack's age coming on to Tina.

It didn't record the second one - again! Why is it doing this?

chevalier mine's only recorded one for the past 2 days, I record them in a morning, it looks as though they show 2 in the afternoon then repeat those 2 the following morning. I've set mine to record the afternoon ones instead to see whether it makes a difference!

I record the afternoon ones and have had no problems.
