As we've realised, Frank Morgan played the Wizard of Oz in the 1939 film. Gene has nicknamed Sam 'Dorothy' before now... And someone else has already mentioned that Ray needs a heart, Chris needs a brain, Annie needs courage and Sam needs to get home.

I think it is too good just to rehash the Wizard of Oz.

John Simm said the last episode is "like Lord of the Rings, in an hour", and all the preview writers are saying the ending is great, so can't just be a cop out (geddit)?

Agree, Bubble. Will buy the 1st series on dvd perhaps and start watching all over again. We'll be able to see it with new eyes once we know what it's all about!

MOrgan wants Sam to get info on Hunt and co.
Morgan told sam he had an accident and his memories have been damaged and replaced with his false ID ones
But do we believe him?

Hunt is planning sting on a blokes train robbery all will be armed .

Sam thinks he's having a tumour removed in an operation in the present day.

Morgan kept making comments to Sam about an "operation" to remove Gene, so Sam assumed that this was a metaphor from his subconscious, Gene was a tumour and he should play along.

Now Morgan has convinced him (or almost convinced him) that it's really 1973, that he's an undercover cop called Sam WIlliams who is suffering from amnesia, and It's All Real. And Sam is cracking up just a bit...
