As we've realised, Frank Morgan played the Wizard of Oz in the 1939 film. Gene has nicknamed Sam 'Dorothy' before now... And someone else has already mentioned that Ray needs a heart, Chris needs a brain, Annie needs courage and Sam needs to get home.

I think there area lot of planned leaks with these progs, loads of Dr Who stuff gets out but they always have some surpises, like they know how much they can get away with.

It just seems that the Wizard of Oz thing was so relevant to teh programme but totally irrelevant to the storyline IYSWIM.

I read somehwere a list of things they had adjusted for purposes of the show (artistic licence!) and there was loads.It must havbe been difficlut writing a story like that with so many writers, they must have allhad we want X/Y to be hidden in the show this week.

I'm sooo glad I've just read this thread - I was starting to think I'd gone a bit peculiar over this programme!!! I've been so wrapped up in LoM all week that I've put the Best of Bowie CD in the car just to remind me of it! I loved it and thought it was probably the best thing that's been on telly in years. give the writers an oscar or whatever it is they get these days. Marvellous, marvellous telly. I only wish I hadn't seen it, just so I could sit down and watch it again tonight without knowing the ending!
