I'm sure there are many planning to watch this tonight but I can't see a thread, apologies if there is one.

Looks promising with good acting stock. I'm already worried about the implications for real life reporting and conviction rates if the female is lying. Got a feeling it won't be that black and white though.

The sister was in Mr. Selfridge, the detective goes way back to Mistresses and Marchlands a supernatural thriller.

Yes all filmed in Deal, two mins from my house! The house where her sister lives belongs to a friend of mine, they re decorated all the inside. The restaurant is on the end of Deal pier, it doesn't normally look that glamourous and has appalling service normally! Deal is lovely though. Not sure where she was canoeing, looks more like Whitstable was, certainly not Deal. Didn't like the acting too much, kept thinking Bates(her husband in Downton) was going to hobble in on his walking stick!

Some of it was filmed on the salt marshes of Tollesbury, Essex. They were spotted filming in the village earlier in the year. One of the opening scenes was Tollesbury, and the closing still (when all the credits were rolling) are the salt marshes around Tollesbury.

Sorry - meant to say - she was canoeing around Tollesbury.

I was really excited to watch this, it felt a bit flat and couldn't really warm to the characters, not sure if the flashbacks are real either
