What are people's opinions on the new Bake Off so far? And yes, I know we're only a few minutes in. IMO the new presenters feel a bit like they're trying a little too hard to be Mel and Sue.

I thought it was Kate's time tbh. I really don't get the hate for Stacey - she's often done really well in one of the three rounds when others have had three similar ones. I think she's good at pastry too when some of the others aren't.

The cat has just fled as I shouted 'No, not Liam!!' loudly at the TV. Really loved Liam, he was such a breath of fresh air. What a pity.

No. Just no. How Stacey made it this far to get star Baker is an utter mystery and Kate served bloody floor pastry.

How can stacey be star baker? It was so amateurish. Sophie's was so much better. It looked beautiful.
The bias is obvious.

Oh I was praying for smuggy Steven to mess up. That savoy cake was pathetic compared to the others, and I don't know how his pie cooked since he was faffing with lattice for ages.

So sad about Liam but delighted for Stacey. I think it was a close run thing but it sounded like her showstopper had the best texture and flavour.

I thought it would be Kate out and Sophie SB though.

Well! I had Liam to win from the get-go. Stacey should be on Blue Peter, that showstopper looked like it was made from a couple of cornflakes boxes and the inside of toilet rolls, and Kate! Words fail! She should have gone weeks ago.

Right I'm done. I've watched this show since day one and I have never ever been pissed off with it. The Stacey bias is ridiculous and getting rid of Liam is a travesty.
