What are people's opinions on the new Bake Off so far? And yes, I know we're only a few minutes in. IMO the new presenters feel a bit like they're trying a little too hard to be Mel and Sue.

I don't know what it is about this series, whether it's the presenters, the contestants, or the channel change but it really seems to be dragging. The sparkle has gone out of it. Trying to watch this week's episode but just isn't engaging me.

Stacey might make it into semi finals!! Sophie & Steven consistently strong. I don't care who goes as long as they give Liam another chance.

I got it working bonfire thanks! Had to sacrifice the mumsnet-along for a while as I needed to use the laptop to do some work!

montacute it's the ad breaks. Also with only five contestants left it really doesn't need to be 1.5 hours long. I usually watch it on demand, first time I'm watching live and already feels like 2 hours!
