THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF SEASON 7, EPISODE 3 "THE QUEEN'S JUSTICE"

Come and discuss the third episode in the penultimate series, airing July 31st at 2am UK time! Don't read the thread if you want to avoid finding out what happens in Season 7 but also Seasons 1-6

HBO description of the episode: Daenerys holds court. Cersei returns a gift. Jaime learns from his mistakes.

Please avoid discussing leaks and production details for Seasons 7 and 8 but speculate away on what we have learnt from the new episodes and what it might mean for the rest of the Season and the ultimate winner(s) of the Game of Thrones

Is the quality even worth it? I heard it's potato quality?

It's definitely watchable - but then it's late and my eye is playing up
I'll still watch it properly on Monday morning, of course (just so I don't have bloody buffering every ten seconds!!)

I have 6:48 vision so it looked just as good to me on my iPad as it does on our 55" TV.

The music score is f*cking fantastic, so definitely worth watching in full surround for that alone!

I went to the place of parrots and peg Legs. It's watchable but I need to re watch on Monday for all the decent effects.
But it was so worth it.

Watch out for Euron Flasheart while you're there!

I'm very tempted to crack tonight. Thanks for the Reddit Freefolk tip - I have been finding a decent link or two on Reddit GOTLinks thus far but great to have somewhere else to go.

I have told DH in no uncertain terms that the tv is mine on Monday evening.

Resisting dodgy pirate sites and indeed the Episode 4 thread, but very pleased to hear it's a cracker. No idea what to expect but I'll probably wake up spontaneously at 6am on Monday mornnng and run downstairs to see whether Santa has been. That reminds me - I'm going to have another go at reloading Now TV on my XBox, so I can watch it curled up on the sofa on the biggest telly.

My recommendation is watch on the biggest television with the best sound. Turn the volume very high. The music score is amazing. My iPad just didn't cut it!

I'm trying to avoid spoilers too. The series will be over soon enough, I don't want to rush it! When is the last series due?

I've got to wait until Tuesday! I'm flying out to America tomorrow, flying back Monday night, landing Tuesday. I've promised my husband I'd watch it with him when home (how will I avoid HBO on Sunday in the hotel??). He did say he wouldn't mind if I watched it, but if it's a good one I'd like to watch it together.

The fact it's a good one is making me want to save it for Monday night perversely. Can't wait now... well obviously I can.

I was talking to my mum yesterday about GOT. She's watched every episode too but somehow always gets the character names wrong. We've had:

Sarsa & Anya Stark
Serys Lancaster (in fact all Lannisters are Lancasters)
Lord Vennis
Brina of Targ

And she swears her hearing is perfect
