WARNING: HERE BE DRAGONS (probably) AND SPOILERS

THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF SEASON 7, EPISODE 3 "THE QUEEN'S JUSTICE"

Come and discuss the third episode in the penultimate series, airing July 31st at 2am UK time! Don't read the thread if you want to avoid finding out what happens in Season 7 but also Seasons 1-6

HBO description of the episode: Daenerys holds court. Cersei returns a gift. Jaime learns from his mistakes.

Please avoid discussing leaks and production details for Seasons 7 and 8 but speculate away on what we have learnt from the new episodes and what it might mean for the rest of the Season and the ultimate winner(s) of the Game of Thrones Smile

I'm ready!!!
Unfortunately with boy 1 now on holiday I expect I'll have to wait until dh watches in the evening (rather than watch in morning without him and pretend I haven't Grin)

AryaUnderfoot · 30/07/2017 18:33

Not staying up 'til 2am! I'll watch in my pjs when DH goes to work at 6:30.

Looking forward to watching some more instantaneous Westerosi teleportation! Beam me up, Davos!

FannyWisdom · 30/07/2017 18:35

I'm another am watcher.
Brought a bit of fizz to Monday.

AryaUnderfoot · 30/07/2017 18:46

I promise not to discuss them, but am I the only one who has followed the leaks this season?

ArmySal · 30/07/2017 19:06

So fricken excited, will be watching at 6am. I haven't read any links to spoilers.

FadedRed · 30/07/2017 19:09

I think the sands have run out for a couple of characters.........(see what I did there Grin )

AdalindSchade · 30/07/2017 19:49

OlennasWimple · 30/07/2017 19:56

Ready here to watch it in bed before I get up in the morning. Kids can sort out their own breakfast Grin

Wobblebeans · 30/07/2017 20:29

I don't think I'll be getting up for this one, I have DD2 in my bed after an upchuck about 10 minutes after she went to bed Sad

ClashCityRocker · 30/07/2017 20:34

Settling in... I'll be watching the Monday night showing... Just can't get in the mood for it at six o'clock in a Monday morning Grin

Kitslefttesty · 30/07/2017 21:30

I'm staying up as start nights tomorrow - snacks a plenty!!

Hoping for more arya/ hound this episode!

WestleyAndButtockUp · 30/07/2017 21:48

It's broadcast at 2am. What time, therefore, will it be available to watch after that, on catchup?

How long after the original broadcast? Immediately, or does it take a couple of hours?

Notyetthere · 30/07/2017 22:30

Marking place. I will watch tomorrow morning during breakfast with dh and 5wk newborn. Or I could watch during the 2am feed and watch again with dh later on Grin.

weaselwomble · 31/07/2017 01:57

Westley 3.10 on NowTV not sure about anything else

weaselwomble · 31/07/2017 02:56

Howling at Jorah's scene.
Where are you all? I love reading these threads while watching!

WestleyAndButtockUp · 31/07/2017 03:10

Ah, I woke up anyway to watch it.

Tyrion's turned into a bit of a boring bastard, hasn't he?

Henriettacat · 31/07/2017 03:50

Felt like a bit of a cheap episode, neatly sidestepping the battles. But neat confession at the end
Aiming to avoid spoilers

Kitslefttesty · 31/07/2017 04:21

I felt quite let down!

wowbutter · 31/07/2017 04:40

Well that was a bit shit.

Kitslefttesty · 31/07/2017 05:02

I'm thinking the 'onion knight' will do some smuggling to casterly rock with food supplies.... in exchange for dragon glass and for Jon to leave.

MyOtherProfile · 31/07/2017 07:44

Doesn't sound like I should rush to watch it. Please tell me the hound was back. That'll make it worthwhile.

AryaUnderfoot · 31/07/2017 07:47

I liked the reference to Bronn at the Eyrie - 'give me 10 good men and I'll impregnate the bitch'.

Yes, Jon is better at brooding than Tyrion.

Sansa was great this episode - only woman of substance who isn't batshit crazy.

Missandei as a most trusted advisor - WTF? She's a translator who knows SFA about Westeros!

Don't get the 'fight every battle, everywhere, all the time in every time zone' crap. What is she, Scrhrodinger's Sansa? Sansa needs a new man - preferably one that's a few inches taller. Wink

Generally, another disappointing episode, with more time-wasting scenes designed to show off the favourite actors.

AryaUnderfoot · 31/07/2017 07:48

MyOtherProfile no Hound again (cries into corn flakes). The only character worth watching any more has gone AWOL.

AryaUnderfoot · 31/07/2017 07:54

So glad Jon didn't bend the knee. Mad Danelle didn't force Yara to kneel, but she wants Jon to...
