How the hell did Venus get that heavy eye makeup to stay on for a full tennis match?! I can't get a wee bit of eyeliner to stay on for more than about 5 minutes!!!

San Fran a shot was called out just as vandeweghe hit it. She hit it into the net. Rybatikova challenged and it was actually in. Umpire gave the point to rybarikova whereas coco thought it should have been played again as she was interrupted by the out call. Coco was understandably not happy and argued quite furiously.

As I said though last night, I do think he was right for once about should have been put on Centre Court. It made no sense to not use the court. He'll be the only one of the men not to have had a day off. Although all of the women have had to play their quarter finals without a day off...

Wow! Just caught up on the Konta match! Such a high standard, so tense and I felt really sorry for Halep when that woman screamed. Surely they would have replayed the point had that happened at any other point in the match? Was a very strange ending.

I thought the Umpire over-ruled it at the same time as the Challenge? Either way, a lot of balls are called out, just as the player is hitting the ball, because having taken the swing at it, it's too late to stop. Think how often a serve is called out but the ball is returned anyway. Vandeweghe wasn't playing well, and that was just a sign of it.

Should be some good tennis today. It'll be interesting to see how Muller gets on. I'm hoping Berdych will beat Djok later on.

I have am am suck in sports day hell. Done part one, got to walk the dog, and go back this afternoon for part two.

Won't be the same for me now Rafa is out. His conquerers never get past the next round, (Darcis didn't even play his next match bitter) and I'm not sure this year will be different- Cilic beat Muller recently and is on top form.

Qui dd2 is much better - she suffers from severe constipation problems, and sometimes, it all gets too much. She's 7 in September, I was hoping she would be getting better with it by now . But, she was better today, and enjoyed her sports day. more than I did

Some players are just bloody entitled. Federer is not the defending champion- all his matches are on centre too.

By contrast- Nadal's first match at RG- a tournament he had won 9 times at that point- was on Lenglen, the 'second' show court. He didn't complain. Murray did though.

Hello all. I'm at work so will be keeping up with the scores online, and relying on you ladies to keep me up to date with any gossip.

It's a real pain having to work these two weeks, but I couldn't get the holidays as other people are away. I haven't seen as much tennis as I'd like to this year at all.
