I've stuck with it to see if it got more ridiculous and I fear it can't get much worse than evil priest baptising Alfie on the shore with the mist. Wtaf is going on in this programme. I wish they'd just done it as a Sunday night drama with no Kat or Alfie and concentrating on the family instead. I'm finding Agnes interesting although it's like half way through the actress thought 'this is shite' and started hamming it up.

It really annoys me the non gay gay one has a totally different Irish accent and I don't even know anything about accents.

And the dark haired daughter who was previously Catherine of Aragon in the Tudors, she just is no way old enough to be gay non gay's mum and it was about episode 4 when I realised she was! The ages are all wrong!

Maria Doyle Kennedy is 52 and the actor who plays Andrew is 28/29, so they're about the right ages. Means she would've been about 22 ish when she had him, so not ridiculously young.

I think it's the bad dye job that makes him look a lot older than he is

Why say that about the ending when it hasn't been broadcast to a large number of people yet?

I didn't want to know if stuff was left hanging or whether it was all tied up nicely or anything at all.

I've actually been completely hooked on this. Excited for tomorrow night's finale. I'm a bit weird tho and have a huge thing about fictional tortured priests so that may have something to do with it....

A lot of Irish people are pissed off at how Ireland/the Irish have been portrayed in this, it's like it's been written by an American who has never visited Ireland. Reality has been suspended.

Holly is saying with the ending that there may be loose ends - I think - so another series may happen

But I havnt seen it so don't want to know any endings till 9pm tomorrow night !!!

Andrew's haircut is awful, it's like something from a seminary back in the 70's where pudding bowl haircuts were the norm, everytime I see him I think of him - the actor playing Stumpy in Love/Hate. He's also the voice of Ireland's First Dates.

Iris should be Lance's Sister since her Surname was Byrne? I thought Rósín was married to Andrew in the first episode until Bernie arrived and it became clear she was married to him

Maria Doyle Kennedy looks great hence not thinking she was the mother of Bernie's husband. He looks older than his age iykwim.

Iris was Róisín's first Cousin, Agnes (Róisín's Mother -woman with white hair) was Iris' Aunt.
